Abroad, we advanced business missions in Silicon Valley and Canada, building partnerships in advanced manufacturing,biotechnology,andartificialintelligence. Locally, we hosted a Business Seminar with the Granby Industriel delegationat UABC’s Business Incubator, where Canadian and local leaders explored new opportunities in aerospace,logistics,talentdevelopment,andinnovation.
We also celebrated our Business Mixer on the binational vision of Pacific Ports, highlighting the importance of Calibaja, and witnessed the inauguration of the Zventus Center of Excellence at ITE, a project that connects academia with industry to develop skilled talent for global markets.
Finally, during our Bimonthly Reports Meeting, we shared recent achievements and upcoming agendas that will continue to drive Ensenada’s competitiveness. All these effortsaremadepossiblethankstothecommitmentofour businesscommunityandpartnerswhosharethevisionofa globallyconnectedEnsenada.

On August 21, we held a meeting with themayorofEnsenada,ClaudiaAgatón, which was also attended by Rodolfo Andrade, Undersecretary of Investment Management at the Baja California MinistryofEconomy.
During the meeting, we presented Ensenada EDC's work agenda, the strategic sectors we promote, and the actions that, in coordination with the Municipal and State Governments, strengthen investment attraction in Ensenada.
This is the start of a joint agenda that includes collaboration through the Sister Cities Committee, promotional events, addressing investment prospects, and strengthening the business ecosystem, all with the goal of creating jobs in our municipality.
Representing Ensenada EDC were Mario A. Peregrina, President, and Kennya Vargas Maldonado, Director.
On August 25th and 26th, we held a strategic agenda in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, focusing on the biotechnology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence,anddigitalhealthsectors.
During these sessions, we held meetings with business leaders and high-impact startups, including QuantumCyte, a company that integrates artificial intelligence and digital pathologyforprecisioncancerdiagnosis;Zulia Biotech and Amplify Dynamics, with whom we discussed innovative therapies; and Compass Made, Groq, Hitachi Digital, and Inflammatix, companies known for their innovation and contributions to key sectors of the global economy.
These visits allowed for the exploration of collaboration opportunities within the Baja California ecosystem, particularly in advanced manufacturing and medical devices, consolidating the region's position as a strategic innovation and production hubforNorthAmerica.

From September 10 to 18, we carried out an international promotional agenda in Canada, with strategic activities in Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, andSurrey.
The agenda began in Granby Industriel, Quebec,whereweheldmeetingswithCITIG, Inoprod, and companies such as A7 Intégration,GroupeIndustrielLachance,and Fives Liné Machines, in addition to a networking lunch with Mayor Julie Bourdon. Later,inMontreal,wevisitedHutchinsonand spoke with its president, Éric Faucher, about projects in Ensenada. We also held meetings at the Mexican Consulate in Montreal.
with Consul Tania Lara and Consul General Víctor Manuel Treviño, as well as with the wine importer Wino, to whom we presented our region's wine offerings.
In Toronto, we participated in a meeting at the Mexican Consulate General, hosted by Ambassador Porfirio Thierry Muñoz Ledo and Christian Clay, and visited Picture Depot, a leading manufacturer and distributor of wall decor.
The agenda continued in Victoria, British Columbia, with a visit to Rainhouse Manufacturing, where we discussed
advanced manufacturing processes, and theGreaterVictoriaChamberofCommerce, where topics of interest in maritime industriesandshipbuildingwereaddressed.
InVancouver,weheldmeetingswithConsul General Julián Adem, where we agreed on the potential for collaboration between Ensenada and British Columbia, and we participated in a meeting with the Association of Pacific Ports and the Consulate General of Mexico, which was also attended by the Nanaimo Port Authority.
Finally, we closed our agenda at the Surrey BoardofTrade,anorganization
key business partner in British Columbia, with whom we explored opportunities for collaboration and strengthening business ties.

As a result of our agenda in Canada, on September 24th we held a Business Seminar with the Granby Industriel delegation, hosted by the UABC business incubator. We would like to thank them for providing the space. Mario A. Peregrina, president of Ensenada EDC, and Kennya Vargas, director, kicked off the agenda with a welcome message and an overview of the city, highlighting our region's potential for new investments. The day continued with key presentations on Ensenada's business ecosystem. Ossie Díaz, from TACNA, spoke about operating under the shelter scheme; Arturo Pérez Behr, from Grupo Logix,
addressed the logistical importance of the port and the border; Francisco Vélez, directorofCETYSUniversity,highlightedthe talent in the region; and Jaime Palafox, of Palafox & Asociados, presented relevant aspects of corporate law. As part of the agenda, strategic visits were made to key institutions and companies, including CICESE, where the Physics Department and various laboratories were toured. Afterward, a lunch representative of Ensenada's gastronomy and wine was enjoyed at La Ensenada restaurant. Finally, the event concluded with a tour of Hutchinson Aerospace, an aerospace company in Ensenada, where attendees were welcomed by Miguel Uribe, Plant Manager.
The Canadian delegation was comprised of Éric Tessier, Industrial Development DirectorofGranbyIndustriel;SergeAudet, Senior Executive Vice President of Atlas Aeronautik; Jean-Sebastien Pelchat, Business Development Manager of A7 Integration; Jean-Philippe St-Laurent, Director of Business Development of Inoprod; Richard A. Fender, Robotic Preproject Manager of Fives Liné Machines Inc.; and François Hervieux, Executive VP, Sales and Market Development of BeltTech Products. We were also joined by Ana Osorio from the Quebec delegation in Mexico, Enrique Patiño as advisor, MiguelOlivaresandMarcoCarrascofrom the Secretariat of Economy and Innovationof
Baja California, as well as Sergio Pérez, president of the Baja California Space and AerospaceCluster.
We thank all the attendees who participated in this agenda, the main objective of which was to explore new collaboration and business opportunities betweencompaniesfromGranbyandBaja California, consolidating Ensenada as a strategic hub for the aerospace and innovationindustries.
On August 27th, we held our traditional Business Mixer, with the theme “Pacific Ports: Binational Business Vision Ensenada-San Diego”, presented by our special guest Kenia Zamarripa, Vice President of International and Public Affairs of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, at the CEVIT facilities – Center for Viticultural Studies ofCETYSUniversityEnsenadaCampus.
Following the presentation, there was a discussion and Q&A session, followed by a networking session on the CEVIT terrace, where attendees enjoyed appetizers, fine wines, and a typical Ensenadasunset.
We thank Kenia Zamarripa for sharing valuable information about the bilateral relationship and the strategic importance of the Calibaja region; CETYS University for opening its doors to us; and Bodegas de Santo Tomás and Vinos Azul Misión for offering us a tasting of representative winesfromourregion.

On September 25, the Zventus Center of Excellence (CoE) was inaugurated at the Ensenada Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the ITE (Institute of Technology). This project seeks to advance the institute's academic mission and strategic goals, while meeting the talent demand of high-level companies, including those on the Fortune 500 list. The CoE strengthens the connection between academia and business, offering students development opportunities and fostering innovation in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, and DataScience.
During the ceremony, the presidium was made up of Mr. Valentín Arquímedes SánchezBeltrán,directoroftheITE;Hortencia Medellín,directorofPromotionofthe
Secretary of Economy of Baja California Sur; Ángel Albán, president of Zventus; Raquel Manríquez, councilor of the 25th Ensenada City Council; and Mario A. Peregrina, president of Ensenada EDC, delivered a message in which it highlighted the importance of innovation, collaboration with academia, and the commitment to training future professionals.
