Likewise, meetings with academic institutions, binational organizations, and international delegations reflect a shared vision to build a more integrated,innovative,andcompetitivemegaregion.

From October 7th to 9th, we attended one of the most important events for the global semiconductor industry, a meeting point where innovation, collaboration and technology set the coursefortheindustrialfuture.
During this first day, we held very productive meetings with key companiesandrepresentativesofthe ecosystem, exploring new investment and collaboration opportunities aimed at strengthening the value chain in Mexico and fostering the growthofthesector.

From Ensenada EDC, we continue to promote the positioning of Ensenada and Baja California as the #1 semiconductor hub in Mexico, highlighting the region's industrial potential, its strategic connectivity with the United States, and the qualified talent that drives technological development and globalcompetitiveness.

From October 7th to 9th, we were present at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida. IBEX 2025 showcased outstanding innovations in electric propulsion, sustainablematerials,automation,andmarine electronics It was an excellent platform to connect with companies in the sector, learn about global trends, and promote the talent and competitive advantages of our region in BajaCalifornia.
Ensenada EDC's participation in this event reinforces its commitment to boosting Ensenada's presence within the international marine industry, a sector with great growth potentialinourregion.

Ensenada boasts a strategic location on the Pacific coast, advanced port infrastructure, and an industrial ecosystem that integrates shipyards, maintenance services, and companies specializing in nautical innovation. Furthermore, the city has become a key hub for research and development of sustainable technologies applied to maritime transport, shipbuilding,andautomation.

From November 4th to 7th, we attended The SEMA Show 2025, an event that brought together the leading players in the global automotive industry. It was an extremely productive few days, filled with networking, innovation, and new opportunities to strengthen the sector's competitiveness. This year 'sshowfeaturedadvancementsinelectric vehicles, lightweight materials, automation, and technologies focused on sustainable mobility topics that are shaping the future of automotivemanufacturing.

On October 6, within the framework of Semicon West, we participated in the Arizona Semiconductor Leadership Day, a strategic forum that brought together industry leaders, authorities and representatives of the technology ecosystem to discuss the future of the sector and opportunities for regional collaboration.
During the meeting, we held productive discussions focused on strengthening alliances that will boost the semiconductor supply chain in North America. Baja California stood out for its more than 50 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with over 180 companies in the sector, more than 8,000specializedprofessionals,andagrowing network of innovation and technical training centersthatsolidifyitsnationalleadership.

On October 30th, we attended Baja Innovation Day 2025, where we learned firsthand about the trends transforming the future of business in Baja California: technological innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. This event fosters collaboration between businesses, academia, and government to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in our region.
We continue to bet on the growth and modernizationofBajaCalifornia,connecting with inspiring ideas and projects that drive change.

INTERNATIONAL VISITS

On October 17th, we welcomed a delegation of companies from Colombia, who are visiting Baja California to explore business opportunities, primarily in the food sector. During their visit to Ensenada, they held meetingswiththeSecretaryofFisheriesand the Ensenada Brewers Association to learn abouttheregion'seconomicandproductive potential. The welcome address was given by Héctor Uraga, president of CODEEN.
Subsequently, Kennya Vargas, Director of EnsenadaEDC,presentedanoverviewofthe municipality's competitive advantages and strategic sectors, while Alejandro Flores, from CODEEN, shared the projects the organizationiscurrentlypromoting.

This meeting was attended by Ericka Walters Anderson, Director of Operations for Latin America at Amway; Daniel García Martínez; José Luis Serrato, Manager of Ingenia BPM; Felipe Machado, Sales Promoter at Ingenia BPM; Yolanda Nasayo, Secretary of Economic Development of the Department of Tolima; Cecilia Ortega from OCEGA;andMichelleGuerrerofromSEI.

On October 12th, we were invited to a welcomedinnerwiththetrademissionfrom theBelgianEmbassyinMexico,organizedby Tijuana EDC. More than 20 companies interested in investing in our state participated in this event, accompanied by His Excellency Patrick Herman, the Belgian AmbassadortoMexico.
We greatly appreciate the invitation and wish you much success in this business agenda that strengthens the promotion of BajaCaliforniaasastrategicdestinationfor investment.

MEETINGWITHTHEUNIVERSITYOFARIZONA
OnNovember4th,wehadaveryenrichingday at the University of Arizona, where Justin Dutrum shared an overview of the institution's initiatives and programs. Afterwards, representatives from ProBaja Trade & Investment presented the strengths and opportunitiesthatourregionoffers.
On behalf of Ensenada EDC, councilor Ángel Albán spoke about the advantages of doing business in Ensenada, highlighting the economic potential and competitive conditionsofferedbythemunicipality.
This meeting reaffirms the joint commitment between Arizona and Baja California to promote innovation, attract investment, and foster the competitive development of the Megaregion.

STRATEGIC EVENTS


On October 16, the president of Ensenada EDC, Mario A. Peregrina, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hotel in the cityofTecate.
This new hotel development represents a significant investment for the region and reinforces the economic and tourism growthofBajaCalifornia.
The event was attended by state and municipal authorities, members of the local Congress, and representatives from thebusinesssector.
On October 22, construction began on the Alliuz Alamar Industrial Park in Tijuana, a GIndustrial project that will improve the border region's infrastructure and production capacity. This industrial park, spanning over 600,000 square feet, will offer Class A space for manufacturing and logistics, generating thousands of jobs and fostering economic growth in Baja California.Withafocusonsustainabilityand attracting foreign investment, it seeks to capitalize on nearshoring opportunities and solidify the border as a key industrial hub in North America. BUSINESS MIXER

On October 29th, we held our traditional BusinessMixerevent,aforumfornetworking and collaboration among industry leaders. This year, we were honored to have the valuableparticipationofMijailRamírez,CEO of BlChain Logistics, who shared his presentation, “Overview of U.S. Tariffs and Mexico’sPositionforInvestment:Application to the Economic Sectors of Ensenada.” This topic is highly relevant for understanding the current context of international trade andtheopportunitiesforourregion.
Likewise,Mr.ArturoPérezBehr,CEOofGrupo LOGIX, presented information on the new legislation impacting the logistics and business sector, providing a strategic vision fortheattendees.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a networking session that fostered the exchange of ideas and the creation of new alliances. Over delicious canapés and drinks, valuable conversations took place among representatives from the business, logistics, and industrial sectors of Ensenada.
To close the event, a raffle was held for bottles of mezcal from Mezcalería Mitos, celebrating the participation and enthusiasm of all those present.
