Likewise, the relevance of certain elements that already concerned companies before the pandemic, such as sustainable development and power generation through cleaner sources, has grown. In the energy sector, these factors have received greater attention due to fluctuations in the hydrocarbon demand, as they are an opportunity for diversification and evolution. The industry is facing unprecedented challenges, and therefore it has also taken actions that will permanently modify the usual way of planning projects, exploring and producing. This edition not only portrays the innovations and
trends in the operating schemes of various Mexican businesses, but it also shows the solidary and cooperative actions that have emerged in a context of uncertainty. Thus, through perseverance, creativity, and talent, different companies have found a way to face the crisis through unity.
