Power and agility Machining centre designed for large productions in the industrial windows and doors field. With its 5 axes this machine is able to carry out compound angles machining, which are often required in the production of facades and porches. It is provided with a double mode that allows the uploading and tooling operations from one side of the machine, while machining is carried out on the other side. Satellite XL is fitted with a 10 kW electrospindle, which supplies all its power also in continuous use (S1), keeping its temperature constant thanks to heat dissipation through the cooling liquid recirculation. The high power and torque spindle allows to perform rigid tapping operations to obtain high quality threads, especially in blind hole tapping applications.

TOOL MAGAZINES
Tools on line The tool magazine is large and fast-moving and is installed directly on the machine gantry. Its lateral position ensures maximum protection of the tool holder tapers against chips and accidental knocks. The magazine is able to contain up to 10 tool holders (9+1) with the respective tools, configurable by the operator, one of which can be a blade with diameter of 300 mm. The forks are made of very durable material and can support a weight up to 2 kg; each position of the tool holder is also provided with a sensor that detects the correct positioning of the tool-holder taper.
BLADE AND TOOLS
The perfect series The tool magazine houses a dedicated 300 mm diameter disc blade. This tool allows, with the maximum speed, safety and accuracy, to perform inclined cuts along the A and B axes, as well as to perform straight cuts or facing operations on the profile ends, it is also possible to perform trimming or cutting operations along the X axis. The machine can be optionally equipped with a device that automatically corrects the workpiece dimensional errors in length, width and height. In this way, the accuracy of the machine is not influenced by the differences between theoretic and actual workpiece dimensions during machining.
REFERENCES AND CLAMPING Intelligent clamps Each clamp group, solid and with correct dimensions, is able to ensure correct and safe blocking of aluminium, PVC, steel and light alloy profiles, even of in large dimensions. Each clamp slides on prismatic guides along the machine. On each group it is possible to assemble and disassemble the counterprofiles with maximum accuracy and speed, making the machine very versatile in relation to the profiles to be locked. The clamp unit is designed to satisfy the compactness criterion, allowing a small footprint compared to the workpiece to be machined. Depending on the length of the workpiece and the machining in progress, the machine software is able to safely determine the positioning values of every clamp unit. The gantry houses the clamps automatic positioner featured by a fast and accurate positioning cycle.
Left and right In the machine there are 2 robust and rigid stops (1 for each work area). Each bar, driven by a pneumatic device, is of retractable longitudinal type, therefore it allow head machining head without hindrance. Optionally it is possible to add a couple of central stops, to allow the pieces reference up to 4 profiles with different codes and job orders: the central stops are a necessary prerequisite to operate in "multi-piece double mode".
OTHER FEATURES Fume exhauster This functional and practical device, that extracts, from the upper part of the cabin, the fumes and vapours emitted during the machining phase, is very useful during medium long processing cycles, ensuring a good quality of the air in the area surrounding the machine.
IN YOUR HAND Close at hand MG Pilot is the pushbutton panel equipped with LCD graphic display that allows the operator to have all the machine functions close at hand. The display shows all the manual operations that are validated through the pushbutton panel; this way, the operator does not have to place himself at the CNC on board the machine. MG Pilot is particularly useful in Double mode.
Conveyor belt A conveyor belt with metal meshes runs along the entire length of the base, to collect the swarfs and cutting waste, transporting them outside of the protections in special containers (not supplied).
