CHINESE NEW YEAR GIVING and receiving Valentines Day this year on 14 February had members of The Rotary Club of Pandan Valley, Interactors from Northbrooks and Rotaractors from SUTD spreading love with red packets of cash and food to the needy residents at Redhill. This project which started by Past President Leonard Loo in 1992/1993 formed part of the clubs community service project for the year. Some 300 households benefitted from the bag loads of vegetables, can food, bread, potatoes, fruits and other household essentials packed for distribution at the void deck. Several Rotarians drove to nearby estates to make house calls too as some residents had difficulty walking to block 89 Redhill Close to collect the goody bag.
