Boys Varsity Basketball team brought in 12 turkeys for the North Collins-Eden Food Pantry. We dropped them off to the pantry on December 22. It was a generous and thoughtful gesture by the boys on the team. Maybe we made someone's Christmas merrier.

Wreaths Across America

On Saturday December 17, Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat along volunteers from across Western NY participated in Wreaths Across America . This was the fourth year that wreaths were laid remembering our Veterans who fought and scarified for our Freedoms. This year over 1400 wreaths were purchased by community members and businesses covering 7 cemeteries.

THE NORTH COLLINS CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT has an immediate need to fill permanent & substitute positions in our Transportation Department.

Bus Driver applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age have a good driving record , already have or be willing to obtain a CDL class “B” license with a P & S endorsement, pass a background check, physical and drug screen. Valerie Ann Wade

Valerie Ann Wade entered into rest December 22, 2022, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late James Wade. Loving mother of Kim (Greg Skora) Proudman, Terina (Andy) Crowell, Valerie Wade Jr., Jamie Lynn Wade, James Wade Jr., Jessie (Tonya) Wade and the late Santiago (Jim Schmitz) and Julie Echervarria. Valerie is survived by 11 Grandchildren, 35 Great grandchildren. Sister of Terry (Richard) Blonski, James (Nancy) Tortorice and the late Anthony (Tina), Doreen, Leonard Tortorice and Norman Benjamin. There is always bad news in the world, but this has seemed overwhelming for our region. Yet wonderful stories have also emerged of people saved through the selflessness of others, of new initiatives born from the tragic loss of a loved one, of a nation rallying to pray for the recovery of a young athlete injured in a freak accident. If anything, we have learned that we are all stronger than we believed and more resilient than we could have hoped.
