“The summer night is like a perfection of thought.” — Wallace Stevens
There’s nothing quite like a summer night! It’s the twinkle of lightning bugs, the flash of an electrical storm, the glow of a backyard campfire. It’s the breeze through the trees, the scent of flowers in the garden, the aroma of newly cut grass. It’s a boat ride at twilight, an outdoor concert or meal, or just a stroll through quiet streets…
There’s just something special about being out in the night in the summer. It’s freeing. We all shed the weight of winter clothes and dance through these brief months of summer in flip flops, t-shirts and shorts!
Children and adults alike postpone bedtimes for one last game, or one last conversation because nothing is more perfect than a summer night!
