It’s already here! We are so pleased to unveil the new web site showcasing the European Business Association and
the benefits we offer for you! We have worked hard to create a new website that reflects the EBA as a whole and our every service in an easily digestible and navigable way. While our main website www.eba.com.ua will continue serving as a main source of information, the EBA Headquarters comes out as your friendly handy guide to the EBA’s services, values and benefits. This new showcase site has several easy to use drop down menus that will allow you to quickly find the services tailored for your profession, needs and occupation! We are now using a responsive design, which means that you’ll see essentially the same design optimized for your smart phone, tablet and desktop. Our new website, aside from being aesthetically pleasing, is more agile, interactive, and is easier to scan, read and navigate, enabling our distinguished members, to find what they need quickly. The EBA is pleased to invite you to our General Meeting with Serhiy Glushchenko, the newly appointed Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumers Protection. This event is scheduled for July 14 and will be held at the EBA office. We will start at 16:00. We know that you have a lot of questions to Mr Glushchenko, that is why we plan to have a proactive discussion. Namely, we will touch upon the following issues: plans and perspectives of the Service’s reformation; improvement of some provisions in terms of consumer rights protection; possible prolongation of the moratorium for inspections; new legislation in food safety area etc. Working language of the meeting Ukrainian (without translation). The EBA would like to invite you to our General Meeting with Valeria Gontareva, the Head of the National Bank of
Ukraine. This event will be held on July 16, at 10:00 am. The venue will be InterContinental Kyiv (2a Velyka Zhytomyrska, Kyiv). The main goal of our gathering will be discussing the current situation in the banking sphere and summing up the halfyear results of the NBU’s work. Join our dialogue and be ready to ask your individual questions to the leader of Ukraine’s central bank. Let’s find out how the things are going in the National Bank together! The European Business Association is pleased to invite the directors of our member-companies to participate in the EBA Sailing Regatta on the magnificent Dnipro River! This event is being organized jointly with Kiev Racing Yacht Club, which regularly conducts corporate regattas and teambuilding events, and will be held on July 17. Each member will take part in a fascinating journey! After the theoretical part on the bank and short training on the board of the yacht, all participants will share responsibilities and try to sail the yacht themselves. They will also need to choose a strategy and plan the tactics of the sailing race. 17.00 – 17.30 – Registration, randomizing people into teams, welcome coffee 17.30 – 17.45 – Opening speech, briefing information regarding regatta rules 18.00 – 19.00 – Instructor-led training on the board 19.00 – 20.30 – Regatta 20.30 – 22.00 – Awards ceremony, reception, networking
All the guests will be divided into several teams of five people in each. In the course of the regatta, you will deal with
various extreme situations and each task will need a correct decision within as short a timeframe as possible. There will be no losers as we guarantee that everyone will enjoy the time and gain new useful skills. Eager to know who’s gonna get the Champion Cup? We bet you do. Join the EBA Annual Football Tournament 2015 “Business vs Government” – 18 July in Kiev! The tournament will be held on 18 July at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (18 Heroes of Defense Street, Kyiv).
Look who is representing the Government – welcome the teams of: the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Aivaras Abromavičius is the team Captain! The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ihor Umanskyi is the Leader! The National Bank of Ukraine, Captain Dmytro Sologub! Easy Business team, Dan Pasko is the Captain!

Attention! The following categories of players are not allowed to participate in the tournament: Players who have had contracts since 1 January 2015 or were declared in the Premier League (super leagues), first and second fusbol or football leagues of Ukraine or other countries (season 2014-2015). Players, who were declared in the tournament ‘Business League’ of Kyiv city or other cities of Ukraine (season 2014-2015) in leagues А, В/С as well as players declared in the ‘Umbro League’ in Kyiv and Lviv.
In case of any infringement of these rules, the team will be disqualified. If you feel interested in participation, please fill out the registration form and send it to us via events@eba.com.ua. We look forward to welcoming your team soon!
