ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:
Continued our support of Family Promise of the Midlands by providing meals for 3 host weeks, paying for rent and gift cards for 4 families.

Partnered again with First Calvary Baptist in the Season of Giving Project (formerly known as Circle of Giving/St. Lawrence Place) to provide gift baskets, toys, and gift cards for 33 families at Family Shelter & St. Lawrence Place.
Sponsored $5,000 for Reconciliation Ministries’ annual (Re) New Hope Banquet.
Were sponsors for Family Promise of the Midlands’ annual Night of Promise Gala Campaign donating $10,000.
Formed a Circle of Welcome and hosted one refugee family that had 11 members from Afghanistan in partnership with Lutheran Family Services. Began new partnerships with Midlands Capernaum (Young Life) and Campus Outreach (Presbyterian ministry at Benedict College).
GOALS FOR 2023:
Support the disbursement of at least $850,000 to mission work including $618,000 of budgeted funds.
Ensure that each local ministry partner is visited at least once in 2023. Connect with each global mission partner at least twice in 2023, continuing to support each.
Establish at least two local opportunities for an intergenerational mission project. Establish at least two adult mission trips in 2023 in addition to the Youth Mission Trip to Bahamas.
Establish a mission strategy (focus/purpose) that will help guide future MSB decisions.
Support another refugee family.
Host a Missions/Volunteer Day on March 25, 2023.
Continue to support local missions including CHAMPS, Bradley Elementary Lunch Buddies, Footcare Ministry, Transitions, etc.
