NURTURE, EDUCATION & DISCIPLESHIP (NED)

ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

Middle School Youth:

Bethany participated in multiple continuing education opportunities, including but not limited to the APCE (Association of Presbyterian Christian Educators) Conference, the Women in Youth Ministry Conference, Soul Shop Suicide Prevention, Mental Health First Aid, and Darkness to Light Training.

High School Youth:

Recruited and trained 6 new High School youth teachers/advisors/Bible study leaders.

High School Bible Study numbers are as high as they’ve ever been with an average of 45+ youth during the Fall.

Confirmed 40 High School youth in April of 2022.

High School had 3 successful summer trips in 2022. Developed a sustainable plan for High School youth Summer trips for future years.

High School youth packed 45 Operation Christmas Child boxes using supplies collected by the EPC Day School children.

EPC led an Emotional Intelligence and Suicide Prevention event for High School youth during the Soul Shop for Parents Suicide Prevention training. Nick attended the APCE (Association of Presbyterian Christian Educators) Conference in Chicago.

College:

College Bible Study grew and welcomed new EPC students and friends over this past year.

15+ families were in attendance for the College Christmas Mingle.

Adults:

The Grace Sunday School class started in May of 2022 with strong attendance and energy.
