ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

NED Committee (General):

Session moved funding for all mission trips (Adult and Youth) to NED. Expanded the Daily Devotionals writers’ group to include more diverse ages, new writers, missionaries, and students.

Expanded the list of Daily Devotional subscribers to CLC users. Through the 75th Anniversary Committee and History/Storytelling Subcommittee, compiled the Advent Devotional booklet of former devotionals over the past 25 years and the 75th Anniversary archive book of stories, photos, and facts. The subcommittee planned the book’s contents, solicited writers, and wrote/edited stories for the book.

Developed a “Trip Evaluation Form” to help staff/members select Mission Trips and Retreats that align with the membership of EPC.

Cleaned up and organized the Lynn Temple Jones Library. Worked closely with Membership and Outreach throughout the year. New Children's Ministry Facebook and Instagram pages are up and running. Provided $400 towards the purchase of a robe for Ed Black in recognition of his graduation from seminary.

Children’s Ministry:

Drop-In Nursery moved from limited cohort system back to pre-pandemic walk up for all format.

Planned and executed a “Turkey Throwdown” party for pre-K children and their families. 30 – 25 families participated.

Planned and executed a Gingerbread House party. 60 families attended.

Lauren Halter and Croskeys had lunch with all Satchel Ford and Brennan 5K and 1st grade kids at their schools in Fall 2022.

Eastminster Day School (EDS) story time with the Library started back up after a two-year break due to Covid-19. Church Librarian Caroline Bennett reads to classes of children once a week.
