ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

Children’s Ministry: Middle School Youth:

55 – 60 children participated in an Operation Christmas Child packing party, packing around 70 shoeboxes for children throughout the world.

Croskeys attended the APCE (Association of Presbyterian Christian Educators) Conference in Chicago.

Weekly programming included Sunday School, Youth Group, and Bible Study. In the Fall of 2022, we saw around 100 individual Middle School students for various events and programs.

Middle Schoolers participated in the church-wide study, the “Journey Through the Bible,” in Sunday school classes.

28 Middle School students attended Preteen VBS.

18 Middle School students attended the Middle School Youth Conference in Massanetta Springs, Virginia.

14 Middle School students attended the Praying Pelican’s Mission Trip in Charlotte, NC.

We had 3 Bible Study Leaders, 3 Youth Group Leaders, and 3 Sunday School Teachers.

We had 9 parent chaperones for overnight trips. 5 Middle School youth wrote daily devotionals. Middle School youth collected approximately $7,500 for Souper Bowl of Caring.

Middle School youth helped lead the Arts & Crafts table at the Fall Festival. Middle School youth performed in the cast of the Living Nativity as angels and shepherds and also helped serve hot chocolate to the attendees.

EPC led an Emotional Intelligence and Suicide Prevention event for Middle Schoolers during the Soul Shop for Parents Suicide Prevention training.
