ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

NED Committee (General)

Planned and executed a church-wide study of the Bible, “Journey Through the Bible,” involving all of our Adult, Youth, and Children’s Sunday school classes, and Sundays@5 and Wednesday night classes, and most of our Small Groups.

NED staff provided print and video resources for all ages and supported the “Journey” weekly.

Planned and executed intergenerational events pursuant to Dreaming and Discerning including four breakfasts: May 29 (Memorial Day weekend), July 3 (Independence Day weekend), July 31, and September 4 (Labor Day weekend), Fall Festival, and the Live Nativity. Began implementation of Safe Church Protocols. Provided Seminary Support at the rate of 35% of tuition (per the Seminary Support Policy) for Thomas Barr who is attending a non-PCUSA seminary in Atlanta.

Planned and executed Volunteer Appreciation Sunday. We held a drop-in breakfast and thanked all volunteers from EPC who support NED programming. The sermon aligned with this focus.
