ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

Reviewed Property, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Directors & Officers’ insurance received from Brotherhood Mutual and recommended to the Session to remain with Brotherhood Mutual for coverage.

Installation of handicapped (ADA) doors around campus.

Updated the front sign with the new minister who was ordained during 2021.

New security system (Brivo) was installed around campus.

Repaired the front steps of the Sanctuary that were damaged by a stolen automobile.

Installed Phenomenal Air filters in the remaining air handlers in the CLC.

Painted the Brides & Babies Room and the Nelle Gunter bathroom.

Deposit made for the purchase of new furniture for the Parlor. Furniture will not be received until next year (2023).

Had structural issues of the Christian Life Center reviewed by a structural engineer and are following his advice to monitor the width of the cracks over several months to determine if movement is continuing.

Painted the Administrative Hall prior to the Communication Ministry installing display screens around campus.

Painted Thompson Hall, installed a new cove base, and refinished the brass on the entry doors.

Painted Adult Reception Hall and installed new carpet.

Replaced the flat roof of Thompson Hall.

Purchased a new chiller for the Christian Education Bldg and awaiting delivery in July 2023 for installation.

Property

GOALS FOR 2023:

Review insurance proposal for Property, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Directors & Officers’ insurance and present recommendation to the Diaconate for approval.

Continue to monitor the cracks in the Christian Life Center and make any repairs necessary.

Carpet replacement as needed on campus. Install wells on campus as needed for irrigation. Rail for the Sanctuary balcony. Lighting in Sanctuary.

Conducting a fire drill during a Sunday morning so officers can be trained. Begin developing a plan for the replacement of second half of the windows and doors in the Administration Building.

Administer an annual inspection program for our slate roof buildings to allow repair suggestions to be given and trouble spots to be monitored.

Stewardship

Mission: To educate, encourage, and inspire our members about the privilege, responsibility, and "joy of giving"- recognizing that all we are and all we have are gifts from God entrusted to us so that we may be good "stewards" for God's glory. The Stewardship Ministry has the responsibility of encouraging faithful stewardship of our time, talents, and treasures.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:

Wrote devotionals related to financial giving and encouraged other writers. Recruited writers and speaker from Diaconate and prior stewardship committee members. Devotionals were emailed to the congregation daily. Assisted with the development of new graphic design for “His Story. Our Story 75 Years” theme.

Revamped Time and Talents campaign to pick ministry areas versus task oriented.

Mailed the annual Stewardship financial pledge letters to the congregation in October. Letters included personalized contribution information and examples of increased pledge amounts.

Produced financial giving videos which were presented before Dedication Sunday.
