ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022:
Intentional planning for EDS reserve fund.
Improved 2-way communication with parents (Brightwheel App on I-pads). Incorporated EDS Director duties into the two new admin hires to have as backups.
Updated the rules, metrics, and definition for the Covenant Family Program. Intentional transition of COVID from pandemic to endemic.
GOALS FOR 2023:
New updated playground for EDS.
Integrate and test new revised Covenant Family procedures and revise further if needed.
Implement new Scholarship policy including targets and revise if needed. Ensure a safety/emergency plan is in place and understood by all staff.
Prioritize and accomplish renovations in context of 1 year, 5 year, 10 year views. Encourage and integrate intergenerational volunteer opportunities for EDS (perhaps through EDSPO).
Complete policy manual (started in 2022).
Refine implementation of Brightwheel (acquire and use tablets, etc.).
Revisit and complete plans for renovation including playground and equipment, and up-fitting of bathrooms and countertops, etc.
Evaluate size of day school vs size of EPC membership.
