In 2016 The New York Times had named Da Lat among the world’s 52 must-visit places; and TripAdvisor readers last year ranked it among the top 10 rising destinations in Asia. Dalat welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors in the first quarter of 2018, up 10.3 percent year-on-
year and fulfilling 25 percent of the province’s yearly plan. Lam Dong is the most popular destination in the Central Highlands, attracting 78.34% of total visitors to the region, according to the Steering Committee for the Central Highland Region.

Viet Nam a favorite escape from the South Korean winter
With 33.7 percent of total reservations, Viet Nam is the most popular Southeast Asian destination for South Koreans this year, according to a South Korean news agency. Citing Hanoi Tour, a prominent travel agency in South Korea, South Korean bookings to Southeast Asian countries for December ranked first among all overseas reservations. Thailand and the Philippines are also popular destinations for South Koreans. The report said Da Nang’s renowned resorts contributed to Viet Nam’s popularity. It also noted that as winter arrives in the last month of the year, South Koreans look for warmer climes in Viet Nam and other Southeast Asian countries. Besides the Southeast Asian nations, Japan occupies 18 percent of all reservations, while in December 2017, it claimed first place at 44.8 percent. A 15day visa exemption for South Korean tourists and frequent direct flights between the two countries have contributed to making Viet Nam a top draw. Besides flights from big South Korean cities like Seoul and Busan, seven direct flights per week between Da Nang and Daegu in South Korea are expected to be launched next month ●
National cultural heritage exhibition ran in Hanoi in November
An exhibition on Viet Nam’s cultural heritage took place at the Viet Nam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Ha Noi from November 23 to 25. Marking the Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the event displayed 100 photos on the theme taken by 89 photographers. The photos had been selected from the 4,753 entries competing at the 2018 Viet Nam Heritage Photo Contest. Visitors were treated to other activities on the event’s sidelines, featuring cultural identities of different regions such as Xoan singing, Quan ho (folk duets on love), and Nha nhac (royal court music from the former imperial capital in Hue). One of the event’s highlights was an exhibition spotlighting an array of documents, photographs, and clothing models related to the ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) throughout history. A painting festival for children, introducing 100 outstanding works on heritage conservation from Ha Noi students, is also scheduled to run as part of the occasion ●
Traditional trade of bronze casting receives National Heritage title
Bronze casting in Chè Đông Village in the central province of Thanh Hóa has officially received a certification recognising it as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, making it the seventh local heritage to receive the title in the country. The traditional handicraft and trade of Chè Đông Village have existed for thousands of years and have been preserved and promoted to this day. The trade comprises a sophisticated technical process involving many stages, each of which uses different techniques like moulding, mixing the compound, heating and casting. Experience is often passed down through families and kept secret from other villages. This is why Chè Đông Village is the only place in Thanh Hóa Province that has preserved the art. All the bronze items they make are meticulously crafted by hand. Local artisans create items of worship, jars and particularly drums. They created the biggest bronze drum in Việt Nam at 1.21m high in 2007, and then the biggest bronze drum in the world which weighs around eight tonnes and is two metres high in 2013. The artisans in Chè Đông Village also cast 100 bronze drums as a tribute to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Hà Nội in 2010 ●

HCMC to launch seven more waterway tour routes
Daily Company will roll out seven additional waterway bus routes in HCMC in the near future after getting approval from the municipal Department of Transport. The service is expected to help meet the growing demand of tourists for waterway services in the city. The waterway services, offering one to four daily trips per route from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., will help passengers tour the city. The city boasts multiple advantages for developing water-based tourism, thus the launch of the seven routes will attract more foreign tourists to experience the services and contribute to the city’s tourism growth accordingly. The Daily firm currently operates water bus services on the Bach Dang Wharf-Thu Duc route, aiming to serve tourists and local commuters. However, passengers on the waterway route are mainly tourists ●
Ha Noi’s silk village to host handicraft festival
Various activities celebrating traditional silk weaving were held in Van Phuc ward, Ha Dong district, between November 8 and 17 during the Van Phuc Culture – Tourism – Trading Handicraft Village event. The event included a worship ceremony, festive activities and a crafts market. Art shows and folk games entertained tourists while trading took place at silk stores every day until 11pm. Food stalls served local cuisine while bonsai plants and flowers were available at the site. Van Phuc silk village (or Ha Dong silk village), located 10 km west of Ha Noi downtown, has a hundred-year history of handicrafts. Its products were first introduced to the world at the Marseille Fair in 1931 and in Paris in 1932, where they were called delicate handicraft products of Indochina. Between 1958 and 1988, the village’s products were exported to eastern European countries before being exported to other countries all over the world starting in 1990 ●
Vietnam’s resorts recognised
US travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler has published a list of the top 50 resorts in the world, including two in Việt Nam. InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula in the central city of Đà Nẵng ranks
15th. Its rooms cost from $400 to $3,000 a day. JW Marriott Phú Quốc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, on Khem Beach in Phú Quốc, ranks 17th. Rates here start at $280. Topping the list is a resort in Indonesia, Viceroy Bali, followed by Viceroy Los Cabos in Mexico and Naladhu Private Island in the Maldives ●
Central Highlands welcomes European Film Festival
The screening of A Wedding at the National Cinema Centre kicked off the European Film Festival (EFF) 2018 in Hà Nội in November. The EFF took place in Hà Nội, Huế, HCM City and for the first time in Đà Lạt from November 16 to 29. The festival, featuring 13 films, starts a journey to explore the rich and creative cinema heritage of Europe — the birthplace of cinematography. "We are proud to share with Vietnamese friends our precious heritage: cinematography," said head of the EU delegation to Việt Nam, Ambassador Bruno Angelet. "This year’s main theme is "family", which is core to our lives and societies. We shed a light on European people, culture and lifestyle as a cultural bridge to bring us closer to the people of Việt Nam. Launched in Việt Nam in 2000, this annual cultural event is jointly organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Việt Nam, embassies of EU member states and European cultural institutes ●
Electric car service for tourists to be launched in Da Lat city
A project using electric cars to carry tourists was piloted in Da Lat city, in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, starting in December. The three-year pilot project by the Da Lat City Tour Company aims to meet an increasing travel demand and boost environmentally-friendly public transportation in the resort city. Under the project, a total of 30 European-standard cars with 8-11 seats will work from 7:30 am to 10pm daily on five routes, going through Xuan Huong and Tuyen Lam lakes, Thung Lung Tinh Yeu tourist site, Thai Phien flower village and the Linh Phuoc pagoda. As one of famous resort cities in Vietnam, Da Lat embraces the natural and cultural features of the Central Highlands. Nestled at 1,500 metres above sea level, the city is quiet and pretty all year with mild climate and temperatures varying between 15 and 24 degree Celsius. Lam Dong is also among the hitech agricultural production localities nationwide, and has been piloting agro-tourism villages, aiming to draw more domestic and international tourists to the province ●
Buckwheat flower festival in Ha Giang promises diverse activities
An annual festival centering around buckwheat flowers, the iconic flower of the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, and the unique cultural values of local ethnic groups began on November 23. This year’s festival featured colourful flowers on the stone plateau including a variety of activities, such as a photo exhibition on the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, a re-enactment of the old market in Dong Van town, demonstrations on the production of the local honey specialty, and a flower road in Dong Van ancient town, among others. More activities are planned in the neighbouring Meo Vac district, notably a night market with folk music performances, a photo contest and a mountain climbing competition on Ma Pi Leng pass. The festival this year was the largest so far as the province reviewed four years of the programme on tourism brand building for Dong Van Karst Plateau. Beautiful fields of buckwheat flowers, framed by magnificent limestone mountains, have become a highlight attraction for tourists in Ha Giang province in recent years. The province hopes to draw more tourists by showcasing its natural attractions ●

Ok Om Bok Festival in Sóc Trăng
Ok Om Bok Festival, also called Festival of Worshipping the Moon, kicked off on November 16, in the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Sóc Trăng. In Sóc Trăng, the Sene Dolta and Chol Chnam Thmay festivals are the most important Khmer festivals of the year. This year’s event was held from November 16-22, featuring dozens of economic, cultural and sports activities to promote local culture, tourism, and economy. The highlight of Ok Om Bok Festival was ghe ngo (Khmer long boat) race on November 21. The race has attracted 48 teams, including 10 teams of females, from the provinces of Sóc Trăng, Vĩnh Long, Bạc Liêu and Cà Mau. The Khmer ethnic people view the race as both a game and a way to express solidarity, as well as a traditional ritual to see-off the God of Water to the ocean after the growing season. The festival also featured a variety of cultural and sports events, including traditional music and dance performances, traditional games, a food festival, and painting and photography exhibitions ●

The first direct flight linking the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City and Switzerland’s northeast city of Zurich has been successfully conducted by the Edelweiss airlines of Switzerland. The A340-300 plane arrived at Zurich airport in the afternoon of November 16 to a warm welcome by representatives of the airline, the Switzerland Tourism, and the Vietnamese Embassy in the country. The route is expected to help boost tourism development and trade between the two countries. It will help tourists from Switzerland in particular and Europe in general to have more favourable conditions to explore the numerous points of attraction and relaxation in Vietnam which are becoming more and more popular among the tourist community in the region and the world. Edelweiss will conduct two return flights a week on this route, starting from Zurich on every Monday and Thursday, and from Ho Chi Minh City on every Tuesday and Friday. Each of the A340-300 planes has 314 seats, including 27 in business-class. The carrier has been posting information on Vietnam’s famous tourist attractions like Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Da Nang, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Hue and Ha Long Bay on its website to attract customers to the route. The opening of the Ho Chi Minh City – Zurich air route lies within its expansion plan ●

Tất cả bạn bè đều tròn mắt ngạc nhiên khi tôi nói sẽ đi Pakistan để du lịch. Rồi đến lượt tôi cũng đi từ ngạc nhiên này đến ngạc nhiên khác ngay khi đặt chân đến đất nước cộng hoà hồi giáo này. Pakistan trước mắt tôi khác hoàn toàn với những gì đã từng nghe trước đó, nó có sức hấp dẫn kì lạ khiến tôi phải ghé thăm hai lần trong một năm vào cả hai mùa xuân và thu. Đây là mười điều ở Pakistan khiến tôi vô cùng ngạc nhiên và thích thú.

1.PHONG CẢNH ĐẸP SỬNG SỐT Chọn Hunza làm điểm đến đầu tiên, tôi đã lặng người trước vẻ tráng lệ của dãy Passu Cones ở đây. Hunza thuộc Gilgit-Baltistan nằm ở vùng Bắc Pakistan, giáp Afganistan và Tân Cương là vùng đất trù phú được bồi đắp bởi phù sa của con sông Hunza với nguồn nước tan chảy từ các dãy núi tuyết cao hơn 7000m, chia thành 3 phần: Upper Hunza, Central Hunza và Lower Hunza. 2. NGƯỜI DÂN HIẾU KHÁCH Bất cứ lúc nào tôi cũng nhận được một nụ cười đôn hậu, một câu chào “Hello, how are you?” của người dân tại đây. Họ không tỏ ra khó chịu hay từ chối khi tôi chụp hình mà ngược lại, họ còn chủ động tạo dáng và cười thật tươi trước ống kính máy ảnh. Chỉ sau một vài lời chào hỏi, họ nồng nhiệt mời tôi dùng trái cây và trà sữa, một loại thức uống truyền thống mang đậm tính văn hoá của người Pakistan. Một kỷ niệm đáng nhớ tại làng Gupis, khi tôi đang say mê chụp hình trong khu vườn ven đường, thật bất ngờ bà chủ nhà đem cả một mâm trái cây ra mời. Đối với người Pakistan, tiếp đãi khách lạ là niềm vui của họ.
3. AI CŨNG GIAO TIẾP ĐƯỢC BẰNG TIẾNG ANH Giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh khá dễ dàng tại Pakistan, bất cứ ai cũng có thể nói tiếng Anh. Ngay cả tại ngôi làng hẻo lánh tách biệt trên núi phải trekking mất nửa ngày mới tới, thật bất ngờ và thú vị khi tôi trò chuyện cùng một học sinh lớp 4, em tự tin giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh và cho biết rất cụ thể rằng ước mơ sau này sẽ trở thành một bác sĩ nhãn khoa. 4. DU KHÁCH ĐƯỢC BẢO VỆ AN TOÀN Suốt đoạn đường khoảng 650km từ thủ đô Islamabad đến Passu, tôi phải dừng lại đăng ký ở hàng chục trạm kiểm soát. Ngoài ra, ở một số đoạn đường đặc biệt, còn có cả cảnh sát mang súng hộ tống đi cùng. Tuy nhiên, sự xuất hiện của cảnh sát chỉ là
để bảo vệ sự an toàn cho du khách và không gây ra có một sự khó chịu nào. 5. THIÊN ĐƯỜNG TREKKING Hunza thuộc Gilgit-Baltistan là nơi hội tụ của ba dãy núi cao nổi tiếng thế giới: Himalayas, Hindu Kush và Karakoram. Tự hào với ngọn núi cao thứ nhì thế giới K2 8611m và có tới 5 trong số 14 ngọn núi cao hơn 8000m trên toàn thế giới cùng với 108 đỉnh núi cao hơn 7000m, Hunza là nơi lý tưởng cho bộ môn leo núi. Bên cạnh đó, trekking các sông băng nổi tiếng như Passu Glacier, Batura Glacier, Hoper Glacier hay vượt qua các cầu treo vắt vẻo bắt ngang sông cũng là trải nghiệm vô cùng đặc biệt. 6. NHỮNG CUNG ĐƯỜNG THÁCH THỨC Bên cạnh cung đường Karakoram
Highway nổi tiếng dài 1300km được xây dựng trong suốt 20 năm (19581978) với Khunjerab Pass là đèo cao nhất (4733m), các làng mạc ở Pakistan được kết nối với nhau bởi những con đường đất nhỏ hẹp ven núi chỉ vừa đủ cho một chiếc xe jeep men theo các con sông và vực thẳm mà thỉnh thoảng đá từ trên đỉnh vẫn lăn xuống đất chắn cả lối đi. Người dân Pakistan thường xuyên đi lại trên các cung đường ấy, tài xế cũng đã quá thuần thục, chỉ có du khách là rớt tim và dựng tóc gáy mỗi khi xe ôm cua vào những khúc quanh hiểm hóc. 7. NỀN VĂN HOÁ ĐẶC SẮC Người dân Pakistan sống trong những ngôi nhà dù làm bằng đất sét trộn đá và rơm hay xây bằng chất liệu hiện đại thì vẫn giữ nguyên kiến trúc nhà truyền thống. làm sân phơi hoa màu và phòng khách được trải thảm với bếp lò ngay chính giữa nhà là nơi dùng để nấu trà tiếp khách. Họ ngủ trên những tấm thảm xung quanh bếp lò để sưởi ấm, nam ngủ 1 bên, nữ ngủ một bên. Họ sống bằng nguồn lương thực tự cung tự cấp từ việc trồng trọt lúa mì, khoai tây, hoa màu, cây ăn trái và chăn nuôi bò, gà, cừu, dê… Họ vẫn mặc trang phục truyền thống hằng ngày và nhảy múa những điệu dân vũ để biểu lộ sự vui mừng. 8. Mr. Lê Văn Kiểm This 27-hole golf course is located in an ideal place, alongside 4.5 kilometers of Long Beach- one of The Best Beaches of the world. It is the first construction of the luxury resort complex system Paradise Resort, including 4, 5, 6 star hotels. The golf course is near the recently opened international airport and port, very convenient for traveling by road or train throughout the country. Greg Norman There are many things I would consider unique about our course in Cam Ranh, but the two that stand out the most are the magnitude of the site and the location. Several holes have amazing views of the ocean or other natural coastal features and there’s not a tree on site. It’s pretty awe inspiring when you stand on an elevated tee box, fairway or green and see the beauty of what’s around you. It’s hard to imagine that such a magnificent golf course is just 5 kilometers from the runway of an international airport. Chairman Kiem allowed us to route 27 holes of golf on the site before any other planning was done, so we were able to incorporate some spectacular features into the layout. The majority of dune formations along the coast of Cam Ranh are broad and more gradually undulating than other parts of Vietnam. We took extreme care in laying out the course to ensure that golfers can take in the entire coastal experience as they play their round. It’s a very a special piece of property and I commend Chairman Kiem for having the vision to build this mega project
in such an amazing setting. It will certainly raise the bar for golf resorts in South East Asia.
The potential of combining golf and real estate? Mr. Lê Văn Kiểm Greg Norman and I share the same idea about combining golf and real estate. I myself have invested in the first golf course project that combines a 1200ha resort, commercial and service center in Dong Nai province. This project is very successful as it serves both golf tourists and foreign investors. In addition, trees and lake system inside the golf course also play an important role for giving a fresh environment for the whole area. Greg Norman: In my perspective, the combination between golf and real estate has a great potential. With 50 golf courses in operation and many new projects, it is a big opportunity for real estate. Nowadays, as the number of golfers is growing fast in Vietnam, they have a big need to combine traveling with playing golf.
Potential of Vietnam’s golf tourism? I think in general, Vietnam is very suitable to build golf courses, as we have many features of which other countries do not, like enormous land, mild weather, and outstanding scenery. In addition, the location of Vietnam on the world map is also very convenient to attract tourists from abroad. Up to 15.3 million tourists visit Vietnam each year and 0.5% of them play golf. Imagine when the numbers increase 1.5-2% in the coming decades, it creates huge potential for Vietnam to develop golf tourism. 그렉노먼과 나는 골프와 부동산 가치를 결합시켜야 된다는 것에 전적으로 동의한다. Dong Nai 지역에 1200ha의 리조트와 상업 서비스 시설을 결합한 골프 코스 프로젝트에 이미 투자를 했고 이 프로젝트는 외국인 투자자와 골프 관광객 모두를 만족시키는 결과를 가져왔다. 부가적으로, 상업 시설 내에 골프장이 들어서게 되면 골프장이 가지고 있는 나무와 호수 등이 가져다 주는 환경적 이익도 무시할 수 없다고 생각한다.
베트남은 골프장이 들어서기에 최적의 자연환경을 가지고 있다. 큰 규모의 땅, 온화한 날씨, 그리고 뛰어난 경치까지 한꺼번에 가지고 있는 나라는 많지 않기 때문이다. 또한 세계지리적으로 베트남의 위치도 외국인 관광객이 찾아오기에 좋은 위치에 있다. 매년 1억5천3백만의 관광객들이 베트남을 방문하고 그들 중 0.5% 가 골프를 친다. 앞으로 수십 년 안에 그 숫자가 1.5-2% 증가할 것으로 예상되므로 그에 따른 골프 관광 발전도 이미 예견된 것이나 마찬가지다. 그래서 더 베트남 골프 코스 디자인에 공을 들였다 ●
위치를 꼽고 싶다. 세계 최고의 해변 중 하나인 롱비치 해변 4.5km 를 따라 조성된 27홀 골프 코스는 파라다이스 리조트와 4,5,6성급 호텔을 포함한 고급 복합 리조트 단지와 함께 설계되었고, 그 중 처음으로 단지에 들어선 시설이다. 최근 새로 문을 연 국제공항과 항구에 인접하며 자동차나 기차를 이용해 다른 지역으로 이동하기가 편하다.

They collected some sponsors to rebuild the course, one sponsor per hole. Having found 8 sponsors, the course had 8 holes, with the hole #8 was played twice from a different tee-box. The club house was extended in the mid 60’s when the course started becoming more popular, with famous golfers like Billy Casper coming to cheer the American troops. The Golf Club was closed again in 1975.

Vietnam has won the “Asia’s best golf destination 2018” at the World Golf Awards, announced the Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNAT) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on November 22. 22일 문화체육관광부 산하 베트남 국립관광공사에 따르면 베트남은 세계 골프 어워즈 시상식에서 “아시아 최고의 골프 명소 2018” 에 선정되었다고 밝혔다. 세계 골프 어워즈는 골프관광 전문가 및 소비자들의 투표 시스템을 바탕으로 골프관광, 세계 수준의 코스, 골프장 등의 우수성을 축하하고 보상하는 역할을 했다.

gập tràn cảm xúc là ấn tượng đầu tiên khi bạn bước vào không gian sống và sáng tác của vợ chồng họa sĩ Đặng Xuân Hòa - một ‘ốc đảo’ màu xanh phủ đầy cỏ cây hoa lá nằm sâu trong một ngõ nhỏ yên tĩnh trên phố Lý Thường Kiệt. Ngôi nhà 5 tầng được thiết kế rất độc đáo và được bài trí theo thẩm mỹ tinh tế của một gia đình cả nhà làm nghệ thuật. Ấn tượng nhất là studio vẽ tranh của vợ chồng ông, cũng chính là không gian nghệ thuật, là nơi “ẩn náu” cho tâm hồn của người họa sĩ tài năng giữa thời cuộc ‘ngổn ngang’ này. Họa sĩ Đặng Xuân Hòa, ở độ tuổi 59 và là một người nổi tiếng, nhưng khi tiếp xúc lại rất giản dị, gần gũi với lối kể chuyện mộc mạc, hài hước, cuốn hút người nghe bởi những kiến thức rộng lớn về nền hội họa đương đại trong nước và thế giới, những trải nghiệm về nghề và những quan điểm sâu sắc trong sáng tác nghệ thuật. Tranh là người - bởi vậy nên những bức vẽ của Đặng Xuân Hòa cũng mộc mạc và bình dị nhưng tinh tế và sâu sắc

Q- Yếu tố nào ảnh hưởng nhiều nhất đến sáng tác của hoạ sĩ? Văn hoá Việt Nam ảnh hưởng rất nhiều đến những sáng tác nghệ thuật của tôi. Tôi yêu vẻ đẹp truyền thống của nghệ thuật Việt Nam, nó được cảm nhận bằng trái tim, sự mộc mạc nhưng vô cùng tinh tế được bồi đắp và kết tinh từ bao đời đã làm cho tôi, một người nghệ sĩ đương đại rung động thực sự! Tôi nhận thấy Văn hoá Việt khó lẫn với bất cứ một đất nước nào trong khu vực, mặc dù nó đôi khi ảnh hưởng do vị trí địa lý hay tôn giáo. Văn hoá truyền thống đã ngấm vào tôi một cách tự nhiên như cuộc sống tôi đang có, và dẫn dắt tôi đến với các tác phẩm sáng tạo.

Nam, từ những bộ ấm chén pha trà, cho đến những chiếc bát ăn cơm với hoa văn kiểu mẫu khác nhau,… những vật dụng từng được coi là những tài sản lớn trong một gia đình thời bao cấp. Tôi gọi đó là “những đồ vật của con người”! Từ ngày ra trường tôi đã vẽ những bức tranh theo phong cách như vậy. Về tạo hình của những đồ vật này, tôi luôn cố gắng làm cho nó hiện đại hơn với tinh thần là đơn giản nhưng vẫn theo con mắt của một họa sĩ đương đại, nên dù là đồ vật cổ hay mới vẫn toát lên tinh thần, và cái hồn trong đó. Tôi rất trân trọng đời sống cả về vật chất lẫn tinh thần, và tranh của tôi thể hiện được sự trân trọng đó. Bởi vậy những bức tranh theo đề tài này của tôi rất dễ nhận được sự đồng cảm.

Q- Nghệ thuật của hoạ sĩ mang tính vị nhân sinh? Con người luôn là đối tượng phản ánh trong nghệ thuật. Trước đây kể cả khi tôi chỉ vẽ đồ vật, cho đến bây giờ nhiều mảng xã hội mà tôi quan tâm, dù gián tiếp hay trực tiếp, tôi vẫn muốn diễn tả con người mang dấu ấn xã hội qua mỗi thời kỳ. Tôi có nhiều cảm xúc với những con người thật, có tên, sống quanh tôi như gia đình, bạn bè, người nghèo, trẻ lang thang,…Họ rất gần gũi trong đời thường và đi vào tranh một cách rất tự nhiên. Tôi yêu thương họ, muốn chia sẻ và cảm thông với họ về những khó khăn trong cuộc sống. Tôi muốn đồng hành cùng họ và cũng chính họ đã giúp tôi nhìn nhận thế giới nhân ái hơn, hướng thiện, tin vào những điều
tốt đẹp, vĩnh cửu. Đó là lý do tôi muốn đóng góp cho xã hội bằng chính những tác phẩm của mình, gửi đến các nhà đấu giá để làm từ thiện và giúp đỡ cho những người có hoàn cảnh khó khăn.
Q- Con đường đến với hội hoạ của hoạ sĩ? Tôi thích vẽ từ khi còn rất nhỏ dù trong gia đình không ai theo nghệ thuật, và cho đến bây giờ nếu được làm lại từ đầu tôi vẫn chọn đi theo con đường ấy. Hội họa như là một định mệnh đối với tôi. Tôi có thể làm được rất nhiều nghề, từ đóng bàn ghế giường tủ, thợ xây, thợ nề, cho đến những khung gỗ cho tranh của mình tôi cũng tự đóng và thậm chí nhiều người mua tranh cũng thích tôi làm khung cho họ! Nhưng

khi làm những cái đó tôi vẫn thấy chưa phải là mình. Chỉ khi liên quan đến hội họa thì đó mới chính là tôi!
Q- Theo ông hội họa Việt Nam có gì khác biệt so với các nước trong khu vực? Nhìn chung hội họa Việt Nam chịu sự ảnh hưởng lớn từ châu Âu. Trường Mỹ thuật Đông Dương (hiện nay là Đại học Mỹ thuật Việt Nam) có từ năm 1925 là do người Pháp xây dựng. Đó là trường đào tạo ra những thế hệ họa sĩ đầu tiên của Việt Nam với những chương trình đào tạo bài bản của người Pháp mang sang, từ giáo trình cho đến giảng viên của trường, và dạy lại cho các họa sĩ Việt Nam. Bởi vậy hội họa Việt Nam so với hội họa trong khu vực, thậm chí so với cả châu Á thì luôn cấp tiến và mới mẻ hơn! Tranh của Việt Nam trong các triển lãm luôn mang nét hiện đại hơn do được thừa hưởng ý tưởng và cách nhìn của người châu Âu.
Q- Nếu là một tỷ phú ông sẽ làm gì cho hội họa Việt Nam? Không nói đến tỷ phú, mà chỉ cần là một người có tiền và có thế lực một chút, thì tôi muốn có thể xây một bảo tàng cho mỹ thuật đương đại ở Việt Nam. Thực tế hiện nay ở
Việt Nam không có một “gallery” nào có đủ không gian để trưng bày được nhiều hơn 20 bức tranh khổ lớn. Và rất nhiều những bức tranh đẹp và giá trị của Việt Nam từ xưa cho đến nay đã bị chảy ra nước ngoài, không biết bao giờ mới có thể quay trở lại Việt Nam nữa! Mong rằng trong tương lai sẽ có một mạnh thường quân với tinh thần dân tộc cao có thể đứng ra làm được điều này cho hội họa nước nhà.
Q- Họa sĩ có cho rằng nghệ thuật có thể thay đổi xã hội không? Tôi nghĩ xã hội mà không có bảy môn nghệ thuật là một xã hội bất hạnh! Bất kỳ ai sống trong cuộc đời này cũng nên hiểu biết thêm về một môn nghệ thuật bất kỳ, thì tâm hồn người đó sẽ “sáng” hơn, cuộc sống của họ giữa bộn bề “cơm áo gạo tiền” cũng sẽ nhẹ nhàng hơn. Nghệ thuật là một giá trị bất tận của cuộc sống, nó soi sáng tâm hồn tới tận cùng ngõ ngách, dù bạn là ai, tôi tin nó sẽ cho bạn một phần hương vị và cảm xúc đẹp về một cuộc sống vui vẻ, hạnh phúc. Đó chính là đóng góp của nghệ thuật cho đời sống văn hóa xã hội. Và hội họa là một sự đóng góp âm thầm và lặng lẽ hơn so với những loại hình nghệ thuật khác. ●

Riyadh Fghani try to transcribe this new world through the choreography whichopens an unusual emotional space and conducive to the dynamic dance Pockemon by exploring the behaviour of today where you walk staring at the screen rather than lookaround. Digital relationships which are multispeed and dual flow take precedence over reality. This creation reflects our society which alternate between narrative passages and acrobatics. It brings us back and sends us this reality full force. We are confronted with a choreographic work in which aesthetics imply our five senses, our perception and our sensitivity. This subjectivity is the foundation of the singularity of human constitution. Musicality with multiple influences takes another dimension in this world where everything is handy. It plays with the audience and accompanies the dancers who meet and compete to finally follow each other. At a time of globalization and all digital, a social phenomenon up itself and interfere in our lives become an indispensable item of everyday life. n the buzzing street of Hang Gai - the shopping avenue of Vietnam's most luxurious handmade products, traditional silk and linen fashion shops, galleries and restaurants is a white-painted Indochinese architecture building with a facade preserved just like the original. Visitors has to enter a secret stairway to literally go inside and can take pictures with the actual grenades, guns and even a B40. Some random alley Expect the surprises along the way! Be ready because you always can spot out a very Instagramming background in a sudden. Street food game strong Talking about street foods, Saigon is a “paradise”. You can find all types of food on the street, from baked bananas, noodle soups or rice paper salad. It’s a really great experience to ask the driver to stop by the street and try several kinds of food.

Like travel South Africa as if we were living in a bygone era on a luxury Edwardian train, or work on projects like #squadSQ with Singapore Airlines where three other bloggers and ourselves were sent to three different
countries in just two weeks. Our unique itinerary was Sydney - Singapore – Germany – Singapore - Vietnam – Singapore – Sydney.

Chris – Being on safari in South Africa! There’s a childlike excitement as you sit on top of the jeep, trying to spot these majestic animals in the wild.
Is it your first time in Vietnam? and how do you like the country? Yes it’s our first time and Vietnam has certainly grabbed our hearts – the people, food, colours and sounds! The only problem was our stay was way too short but we’ll definitely be back to explore more soon.

verything of this special coffee shop recalls memories of ancient Hanoi. From the name “An Nam”, which refers to Vietnam in the colonial era, to the pattern on their ceramic pottery marking the golden period of Bat Trang ceramic in the South East Asian market since the 15th century. An Nam Parlour serves both Vietnamese traditional coffee and espresso, along with homemade tea and Vietnamese desserts, all made from local resources. One of the best-selling items in the shop is the homemade rusk crackers, with flavors of cinnamon, coffee, mango… wrapped in glazed ceramic simulated paper, perfect as a gift from the 1000-year-old city of Hanoi. The shop
also trades beautiful ceramic pottery from Bat Trang village, and other products from local craftsmen including bags, embroidery and delicate jewelry. It starts with a coffee shop, and becomes much more than that, offering a most “Annamese” experience. Travelers can join a workshop to learn how to prepare Vietnamese cuisine, or book a tour of attractions around Hanoi with a Japanese speaking tour guide. Once you came in, An Nam parlour welcomes you with a wall exhibiting photos, a scent of coffee lingering in the air and a relaxing atmosphere. How to spend one day in Dalat Set amidst pine-forested mountains, rolling green hills and serene lakes, Dalat is known for being a former French colonial hill station and a centre for tea, flower and coffee-production. The city has always attracted travellers to come and explore, but most have done so with very limited time. Here is an itinerary to make the most of your one day in Dalat.
Evening LUNCH IN DALAT
MORNING
Kick off your day with a sip of the finest cup of “ca phe sua da” - ubiquitous filtered coffee made with condensed milk and ice. As the home of the world’s largest grower of Robusta, you can find ca phe sua da everywhere, from footpath stalls to coffee houses. Enjoy a ca phe (coffee) while having a quick stop at the tranquil Linh An Pagoda and also at the waterfalls nearby. For breakfast, stop at nearby Cho Thang Long, a local market in Nam Ban to poke around the stalls and to slurp one of Dalat’s popular noodle soups - bun rieu Dalat (bún riêu Đà Lạt). Spend the rest of your morning driving the quiet country roads and dirt tracks to take in the tea and coffee plantations, have a stop at a local rice wine maker, and visit the Thien An Cricket Farm. Your final stop before heading into Dalat should be the Van Thanh Flower village. Make sure to pull over at Ta Nung Pass so you can gaze at the gobsmacking views over the valley, forest and lake ●
When it comes to eating, Dalat’s street food is far superior to the restaurants. You can try vegetable soups, sandwiches, fresh fruit smoothies and juices, crepes, and fruit based desserts. Some of the Vietnamese standards include noodle soups such as “Phở” and “Mì Quảng Khô” which is the local take on “Mì Quảng” ● Dalat is the place to shop for edible souvenirs in Vietnam, check out L’angfarm shops for Dalat specialties.
AFTERNOON IN DALAT Your first stop after lunch should be La Viet (Là Việt), for Dalat’s finest bean-to-cup coffee and shop for beverage and edible souvenirs. Alternatively go to K’Ho Coffee on the hilltop of Langbiang village, home to the K’Ho ethnic minority peoples, 10km from the city centre. The skilled street vendors of Hanoi typically have a level of working experience as long as their age. Hanoi is the only city in Vietnam where nature in particular gives four distinct seasons in an annual cycle: spring- summer – autumn - winter. The distinction between the four seasons offers notable variations in gruel that shouldn’t be ignored. Regardless of the weather when you visit Hanoi, there will always be a suitable gruel. Referring to the four seasons gruel, you should not miss the small shop on the busy street of Hang Can. In the summer, visitors come here to experience a cup of sweet lotus seed gruel with long-lasting elegance. In autumn, the honey bee or made from young rice is a dish you shouldn’t miss. In winter, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a bowl of Chí scented with black sesame and dry tangerine peel. In spring, the owner will add some black beans and green beans to the menu to help customers recall their Hanoian folk memories. How to avoid street vendors in Vietnam
Walking on the streets of the big cities in Vietnam, you are likely to come across some street vendors trying to sell their items which you might not be interested in. In these cases, here are some tips for you to get away from the situation.
1/ Know the price
Do some research to know the price of some basic items like food, drinks or common commodity in Vietnam, you will be able to avoid being over-charged and negotiate the price. If you are not aware of the market price, try bargain at about 50-60% of the seller’s proposed price and work your way up until they accept.
2/ Walk away
If you really do not want to buy that item, just say “No” or ignore them and walk away. They may or may not follow you to convince you buying their stuff but will give up eventually.
3/ Find convenient stores
It is very easy for you to find a nearby convenient store in the big cities where you can get pretty much everything and guarantee the standard price. Besides, the seller vendors will not be bothering you here ●
