A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO Team Discovery,
As we launch this refreshed edition of our corporate newsletter, I want to begin by acknowledging what an extraordinary and defining 2025 has been for Discovery. Over the past twelve months, we have navigated transformational growth that has reshaped our scale, our capabilities, and our position as one of the most trusted operators in the senior living industry. We’ve proven our ability to operate any community, in any market, anywhere and deliver best-in-class resident and family satisfaction. In less than a year, we completed the largest number of acquisitions and transitions in our Company’s history, expanding our footprint by an unprecedented 23% to 420+ communities operated by Discovery’s family of National and Regional Management Companies. We now support more than 22,000 team members delivering tremendous care and experiential lifestyles to our residents in 40 states across the country. With this growth there has come too many achievements to list here. However, among our notable milestones, the acquisition and transition of the Diversified Healthcare Trust REIT portfolio, including 42 communities, stands as the single largest and most complex undertaking in our Company’s history. This transition required an extraordinary level of crossfunctional coordination and collaboration, a lift so significant that it would be impossible to list every individual contributor. What is important is recognizing that every group put forth disciplined leadership, tireless effort and detailed execution that is the hallmark of Discovery’s culture. This year also saw us “stand up” our latest Regional Management Company, Seaton Senior Living, which manages communities in the Mid-Atlantic, as well as the expansions of Provincial Senior Living, TerraBella Senior Living, Integral Senior Living, and Discovery Management Group; all strengthening our operating infrastructure and increasing density across primary, secondary, and tertiary markets.
