BLUEBONNET RENOVATORS

Holding on to the Past

Bluebonnet Renovators breathes new life into vintage spaces.

Bluebonnet Renovators in Fayetteville is the collaborative venture of Judy and Bob Kurtz. They specialize in both home renovations and new construction. A passion for old houses and people is what started it all six years ago.

“I have always loved old houses,” Judy Kurtz said. “I started helping Mama with wallpaper and painting when I was a teenager and decided then that I wanted to be an interior decorator. I didn’t start doing work for other people until 35 years later.”

Bluebonnet Renovators serves Fayetteville, Round Top, New Ulm, La Grange and the surrounding area with both new and old homes alike, but it’s easy to see that they have a real touch for the older classics.

“We renovate mainly old houses,” Judy added. “ When you open up an old house you don’t know what you will find. That applies to materials that have to be matched or made to look like it carries on through the original home. My crew has been with me almost from day one and are very, very talented. We couldn’t be successful without this team.”

Bluebonnet Renovators is located on the square at the old Gulf Station. For further information, see their advertisement on the back cover of this publication.
