Façade alterations, roof level extension, and piled foundations.
We were initially engaged to review the proposed scheme and identify the works which were notifiable under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. In doing this we identified 4 adjoining properties for which notice had to be served upon a total of 8 owners.
Once the notices were served, we then managed the notification process, responding to any queries raised as necessary, and dealing with responses received to the party wall notices.
Following the notification process, we then managed the disputes which arose with the adjoining owners, liaising with their various appointed surveyors, undertaking schedules of conditions, and agreeing the contents of the party wall awards.
