44 Pear Tree Street, Islington
Large extension adding two storeys
The Building Owner wished to undertake an extensive enlargement of their building, including adding two new floors. Due to the tightly packed nature of the surrounding buildings, the work triggered the requirements of the Party Wall Act.
We were appointed to provide party wall surveying services acting on behalf of the Building Owner. Our appointment involved the identification of the notifiable works under the Act, the management of the party wall notification process and resolving any disputes that arose with the adjoining owners.
We were able to successfully resolve the disputes that arose in good time, avoiding anypotential delays to the proposed start date.
