CCTA launches new website – https://ccta.co.in/ a step to provide a fair and uniform system to the trade MUMBAI: The Coastal Container Transporters Association (CCTA), an association for developing coastal container transport trade in India, has created a website – https://ccta.co.in/ CCTA endeavours to create a common platform for all interested Freight Forwarders and are putting efforts in making representations to the Government for the benefit of the fraternity. CCTA works as a bridge between members and other co-ordinates and helps its members to give a smooth platform. The President of CCTA Mr. Rahul Modi said that,

this web site can be considered as an encouraging as well as a new step in the container business, it is a disciplinary step that will provide a fair and uniform system to the trade. CCTA is represented on various trade bodies as well as committees Mr. Rahul Modi such as: National Shipping Board (NSB), Coastal coordination committee with INSA, Committee for Coastal container Trade in AIMTC and Committee for drafting of proposed Maritime Policy.

CBIC launches e-Office application

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Custom (CBIC) recently launched the e - O f f i c e application in over 500 CGST and Customs offices pan India. Over 50,000 officers and staff will use this application, making CBIC one of the largest Government departments to automate its internal office procedures. global economy in new expansion cycle; Morgan Stanley expects V-shaped recovery MUMBAI: The global economy is in a new expansion cycle and output will return to pre-coronavirus crisis levels by the fourth quarter, according to Morgan Stanley economists. “We have greater confidence in our call for a V-shaped recovery, given recent upside surprises in growth data and policy action,” economists led by Chetan Ahya wrote in a mid-year outlook research note on June 14. Synchronized Downturn Predicting a “sharp but short” recession, the economists said they expect global GDP growth will trough at -8.6% year on year in the second quarter and recover to 3.0% by the first quarter of 2021.
