EXG handles 182 Coaches for India-Sri Lanka Railway Project MUMBAI: Express Global Logistics (EXG) has secured a contract to handle 45,000 FRT of coaches for a State Owned Corporation. The volume includes 182 coaches and 4 Driving Power Car (DPC) with dimensions of 20.3 x 2.95 x 4 (m) and weight ranging from 36 MT to 80 MT. The cargo was exported to Sri Lanka under a MoU between the Indian & the Sri Lankan Government. India and Sri L anka signed a memorandum of understanding for "co-operation on economic projects" in 2019. The development and operation of the container terminal was one of the projects in the MoU. India-Sri Lanka cooperation in the transport sector continues to expand with the arrival of 10 state-of-the-art railway passenger coaches at the Colombo Port. Cont’d. Pg. 4
