The Cyprus Synphony Orchestra Events series consists of independent co-productions that diverge from the symphonic repertoire, each production with its own unique and special identity, and thus bringing opera, musicals, cross-over and much more to our season.

The Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, now ranked among the top European youth orchestras, is the country's leading music ensemble. Founded in 1987, it brings together young people with talent and enthusiasm for music. The CyYSO carries an educational character that plays an important role in the cultural activities of the country, aiming at the highest possible artistic level. It also prepares young musicians for their professional careers.
As a symphonic ensemble, the orchestra interprets a wide range of repertoire, both in Cyprus and abroad. At the same time, its members take part in a variety of public, private and charity events each year. Since 2016, the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra has been performing every year at the famous Vienna Music Hall (Musikverein).
The range of the CyYSO activities, consists of a scientifically designed musiceducational complex. Τhe Academy ensures the primary and individual technical and musical development of the young musician. The innovative programme ΣymphoΠedia undertakes and supports the prime musical socialization of the young musicians through music performance practice in music ensembles, choir and rhythmic education while en-route the Symphony Orchestra involves all talented children of Cyprus, from any music-educational institution, in interpreting symphonic and operatic masterpieces.
As of January 2013, the Artistic Director of the CyYSO is Dr Yiorgos Kountouris.

PALLAS THEATRE
Pallas Theatre is an integral part of the history of Lefkosia. Built during the '50s, the theatre hosted music, theatre and film productions. A striking fact about the theatre is that, despite the difficult historical conditions and the changes in use through the years, it has managed to preserve its original identity.
Under the management of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, it is now one of the leading venues for musical performances in Cyprus. The acoustics of the theatre is one of its best and most attractive assets. Beyond music, the theatre is also capable of hosting theatrical and dance performances, film screenings, conferences and seminars.
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, aiming at supporting artistic development and education in Cyprus, has designed a special price package, friendly to the organizers.
