Happy December!
2022 has been a year full of self discovery through a journey of self love. C+C has always been about meeting people where they are, and around this time last year, we made a goal of using our platform to foster a community that will embrace our differences as strengths I work daily to recognize my self worth and allow myself the space to grow- this is my selflove journey.

We celebrate women every day but this past March, we defined self confidence and self love on our terms!
This IWD, we celebrated CeCe's 1 millionth view of her TedX talk "Don't wait on your weight to live the life that you want." with an exclusive partnership! Through a C+C jewelry edit focused on romancing yourself, CeCe paved the way for our 2 communities to discuss self love
.
To Kick off our Year of self-love, we partnered with CeCe Olisa, body positive influencer, to celebrate our journeys to self-love.

We invited our Diamond Collective Community to join us on our photoshoot with CeCe + share what self-love means to them!
In keeping with the theme of loving ourselves, we celebrated our differences as strengths in partnership with Hollywood Actress Millicent Simmonds Our partnership brought her first ASL sign, "mama," to life in a solid gold 2 part charm and brought attention to the amazing work of SkiH Deaf Mentors program that taught Millie and her family ASL and exposed them to Deaf culture
Through C+C product sales, we raised over $17,500 in cash donations and over $5,000 in product donations for SkiHi Deaf Mentors to continue their fantastic work.
Our advocacy reached the First Lady of the United States and got support from notable activists like actress Julianne Moore.
This Fashion week, alongside Stephanie Thomas, @disabilityfashionstylist, who styles all of Hollywood's Disabled Celebrities, we set out to change the narrative on Disability and accessible jewelry Using Stephanie's Disability Fashion Styling System®, we created a custom collection that is Smart, Accessible, AND Fashionable® , Each piece in this collection, was designed to be functional and beautiful It's not often enough that you find the words “Disabled + Stylish” in the sentence, and so yes, WE DID THAT!
Our not so subtle reminder for the folks in power to MIND THEIR OWN DAMN UTERUSES We partnered with Not Safe For Mom Group with the "My Body My Choice" charms made our statement and insist it be heard We made these charms as a stand for reproductive rights All of our proceeds went to support National Abortion Funds @abortionfunds!
We believe voting deserves a special celebration
Our collaboration with the incredible women behind @weareleavingearly to raise awareness for the importance of voting was fun and also our civic duty We rewarded our community with a one time only 30% discount on any custom handmade piece when they shared how you voted. It was amazing to see our community exercising their voices and voting for the voiceless!

Christmas trees, fairy lights, and presents. December is here! Although December can be stressful with the holidays approaching, all the stress ends as soon as you’re with your family. Holidays always gave me anxiety due to unlimited food options and the fear of anyone making comments on my body, weight, appearance in any form.
If this sounds like you, I just want to let you know that you are perfect the way that you are. And I know that sounds cliché, but I promise you do not have to change for anyone. Want that second plate of pie?! Go get it. Want to wear that fitted dress even though it shows your tummy?! Go wear it! Ready to show everyone your Cut + Clarity jewelry?! Go show them!
You are worthy of everything you want. Before the new year rolls around, I’d love for anyone reading this to make one resolution now.
A resolution to try and accept your body, give it grace, and to no longer punish it in 2023.
December is the month to start, no need to wait until January.
