The mission of Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children's Hospital Colorado is to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy. The Department of Pediatrics, was ranked No. 8 in the nation for “Best Medical Schools – Pediatrics”​ in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 rankings.
