Bulletin Board West Sand Lake Fire House on Rt. 43. Cost per meal is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 5 to 10 years old, kids under 5 are free. Meals will consist of spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert & beverages. Take-out meals are also available by calling (518) 674-3677. A pasta dinner will be held every second Saturday for the rest of the year. Proceeds will aid Kiwanis supported projects.
The Friends of The Nassau Free Library invite you to attend Dinner With Friends, a night of food, fun and music, to be held at the Nassau Ambulance Hall, October 27, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:45; the menu is Italian. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased at the Library. The number of tickets is limited. Call 766-2715 for Library hours. Proceeds from this event will provide assistance for 2013 Library programs.

The Castleton - Schodack Kiwanis Club will be selling Chicken Barbecue Dinners on Sunday, October 28th, to raise monies for its community service programs. The cost of the dinners is $9.00, and the dinners may be picked up from 12noon to 5PM at the Castleton Volunteer Fire Company in Castleton. SPECIAL “HALLOWEEN” DINNER On Wednesday, October 31st, the Nutrition Department will hold its monthly special dinner at noon. This month’s theme will be “Halloween” at the Rensselaer County’s Everett Wagar Senior Center, 2 Roxborough Road, Grafton. Menu will be: Baked Meatloaf w/ Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, Italian Bread, and Frosted Orange Cake for dessert. Entertainment will be provided and begin at 11:00 a.m., sponsored by Fidelis Care New York. Our wonderful complete lunch is available to all Rensselaer County Seniors age 60 and older every weekday for a suggested contribution of $2.50.
