DIVORCECARE CLIFTON PARK - DivorceCare is a friendly, caring, supportive group of people who will walk alongside you, helping you deal with the pain of your past as you begin to rebuild your life. A DivorceCare support group meeting is held at the Clifton Park Center Baptist Church on Monday evenings from 6:308:00pm. This ongoing group meets for video based curriculum and discussion each week for 13 weeks. New visitors are welcome, and you can start anytime. HALFMOON TRANSFER STATION ANNOUNCES SPRING CLEANUP SCHEDULE FOR 2014
HALFMOON - The Town of Halfmoon Transfer Station will hold spring cleanup, - April 22,25,26, 29, May 2,3. Hours are Tuesdays 8am-12, Fridays 12 –5pm, and Saturdays 8am-3pm. Spring cleanup is limited to town residents only, no contractors. A transfer station permit is required, and can be obtained at the Town Clerks office. You may dump household waste and construction debris free of charge during the dates above. Metal appliances, electronics and other recyclables can be dumped at no charge all year long. Paint containers must be open and dry, yard waste is accepted. Tires are not free they are charged according to size. No combustible or toxic substances allowed. Our Free Shredding Day for Town residents is on May 17th 2014, 9am – 11am at the Highway Department, at 322 Rte 146. There is a 3- bag or box limit. We ask that you bring a donation of a non- perishable food item for a local food bank. For more information please contact John Pingelski at the Highway Department at (518)-664-3127.
