SCHODACK ISLAND STATE PARK ICE SKATING RINK OPEN The ice skating rink is open free to the public to use and will continue through the winter months as weather conditions allow. The rink will be open daily from 10 am – 4 pm. Friday night skating is back until 8pm, and ice skate rentals are available on this night only, along with food and hot beverages. There are over 6 miles of groomed trails that are open for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. There is no entry fee to the park during the winter months. Please bring your own skates. Patrons use the ice rink at their own risk. Children under 16 must be supervised by a guardian. We do have snow shoe rentals.
