CAPITAL DISTRICT/LATHAM - The Captial District Bridge Association will sponsor their Spring Sectional Bridge Tournament starting Friday, April 20 thru Sunday April 22, 2018. All games will be held at the Shelly Bridge Studio located at 6 British American Boulevard, Latham. Friday and Saturday’s sessions will start with an open pair game and a 0-750 game at 10am and again at 3pm. These will be two single-session games. On Sunday a Bracketed Swiss Team game will be held at 11am. This will be based on attendance. If an insufficient number of teams are entered, the game will be run as a Stratified Swiss by team average. All duplicate bridge players are welcome. Saratoga County Fair Exhibitor Handbook Provides Details For Entering Fair Exhibits And Judged Competitions, From Antiques To Livestock To Vegetables
SARATOGA COUNTY - The Saratoga County Fair announces today that the 2018 Exhibitor Handbook is now available online at saratogacountyfair.org, detailing the entry requirements and deadlines in each of 20 broad departments that comprise the judged competitions and educational displays at the fair. This year’s fair will run from Tuesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 29. To qualify, each exhibitor must be a resident of Saratoga County, unless entered in an “open” class, which allows participants from a broader geographic area. Entries may be submitted to the Saratoga County Fair until July 14. More details about rules and entry requirements are available at saratogacountyfair.org in the Exhibitor Info section of the site. Anyone not having computer access can call the Fair office at 518885-9701 to obtain a printout of the relevant information.
