BOARDING NEWS

This past week in boarding has been spent reuniting with friends and sharing exciting holiday adventures with one another.

On Saturday the boarders went bowling, showing off their own flare and stylised technique to achieve an allcoveted strike and bragging rights. Once again, the need for bumpers was underestimated with the boarders realising that their stylised technique may need a safety net. The commentary from their friends was equally supportive and hilarious, laughter was frequently being heard throughout the game.

Sunday church service was spent celebrating the well lived life of Pope Francis with the boarders reflecting how one person can have such a positive effect on a worldwide community. In the afternoon the boarders enjoyed the welcomed sunshine, long may it continue!

YEAR 8 COLLABOR8

On Wednesday, a group of Year 8 pupils had the pleasure of attending Mission Collabor8 at Manor House School a lively and well-organised event that brought together pupils from across the Trust.

Pupils collaborated in mixed-school teams to tackle a variety of physical and mental challenges across the school grounds. It was a fantastic opportunity to build teamwork skills, make new friends and enjoy a change from the usual routine all in a relaxed, non-uniform setting.

The evening concluded with some well

We’d like to extend our thanks to Manor House for hosting such a fun and memorable event. We look forward to taking part in future collaborations across the Trust.
