Topcon’s GPT-3200NW Series Offers an Extended Non-Prism Range Topcon Positioning Systems’s (TPS) GPT-3200NW series of reflectorless total stations offers an array of new features that include enhanced non-prism measurement performance, improved user interface, and increased onboard data collection capability. The series includes two, three, five and seven arc-second models: GPT3202NW, GPT3203NW, GPT3205NW and GPT-3207NW. Denny Welch, senior vice president of the TPS Survey Business Unit, said, “Improvements have been made while maintaining field-proven durability and portability for the user. The industry-leading technologies of the new series will maximize work efficiency and maximize safety with a Class I/1M safe laser for distance measurement that allows safe use even in areas with heavy traffic.” The new GPT-3200NW series has an extended non-prism range with a
refinement of the pulse EDM with measuring distances up to 1,310 ft. (400 m) range without a reflector. The standard onboard software, TopField and Road, increases efficiency in topographical data collection, construction layout, as well as road stakeout tasks. The newly added 24key alphanumeric keyboard allows for quick input of point numbers, codes, attributes and other necessary data. In addition to the extended range, other standard features include: • Class I/1M safe pulse laser EDM • Laser pointer for NP measurement and layout • 24-key alphanumeric keyboard • TopField and Road onboard software • Point guide for stakeout/layout • Laser plummet for quick setup (GPT-3200N series has an optical plummet) • Bluetooth wireless connectivity
