Sixth Form Deposit Terms and Conditions

Pupil’s name (please print):

I wish to take up the offer of an early payment deposit to secure a £1,000 per annum discount (the “Discount”) against tuition fees only for my child’s place in the sixth form at Claremont Fan Court School (‘the School’).

I confirm that I have made a BACS transfer for £1,500 as a deposit (‘the Sixth Form Deposit Payment’) to secure this discount for the two academic years 2025/26 and 2026/27.

The following terms and conditions apply to this offer:

1. The payment must be received by Monday 3 February 2025.

2. Notice of withdrawal after this date will mean the Sixth Form Deposit Payment will not be refunded. (Under clause 5.1 of the School’s terms and conditions either a term’s notice of withdrawal is also required or a term’s fees in lieu of notice will be charged.)

3. For students new to the School an acceptance deposit of £1,000 will also be required once an offer has been made.

4. The Sixth Form Deposit Payment will be credited against the first term’s fees and any balance will be carried forward to be offset against the second term’s fees.

5. The £1,000 discount will be applied to the published tuition fees before the application of any other discounts in the first term of each academic year.

6. The discount applies to tuition fees only and does not apply to any extras charged.

7. If GCSE grades are not sufficiently high for sixth form entry, the school will discuss the grades achieved with you and your child on results day. If we are able to offer entry to the School with the grades achieved, the discount will still apply.

8. If GCSE grades are not sufficiently high in the subjects initially chosen to study at A level but are good overall, we will discuss other A level options, where possible, and the discount will still apply.

9. The School does not undertake to offer alternative A level study if GCSE grades are not sufficiently high in the subjects initially chosen to study at A level.

10.Should the school not be able to offer a mutually acceptable place in the sixth form once results are known, the Sixth Form Deposit Payment will be refunded in full.

11.In the case of the award of a scholarship, exhibition or bursary, any credit resulting will not be refunded and will be offset against subsequent fees.

12.If the character standard described in the A level curriculum booklet is not achieved by the start of the term of entry, the School reserves the right to withdraw its offer and will refund the deposits.

13.Both parents must sign these terms and conditions. Signed:
