Longcross parent evening Wednesday 17 September
17 September 2025
Welcome / welcome back!
• In 1932 Fan Court was founded as a preparatory school for boys & soon moved to its base in Longcross, Chertsey.
• In 1979 Fan Court amalgamated with Claremont school for girls, locating at our site here in Esher and becoming Claremont Fan Court School.
• Our house emblem, a lion, represents the original insignia of Fan Court School; its crest was “the lion of the tribe of Juda” (to represent moral courage) and its motto was “be strong”, which links to our school motto “Be Strong in Understanding”.
