Parents, get ready: National Night Out is going full Minecraft mode this year, and it’s the perfect adventure for your kids! Your little crafters can build big dreams in our giant Minecraft build zone, test their endurance on the Chicken Jockey ride, and burn energy in exciting inflatable obstacle courses
And while they play, you can connect with Weatherford police officers, firefighters, and paramedics all here to help keep our community safe and strong.
Best of all? Everything is FREE, from the event itself to tasty hot dogs and refreshing Funky Munky snow cones.
Just like in Minecraft, the best builds happen together. Come join us for a night of fun, food, and friendship, because the strongest communities are crafted one family block at a time!

The Weatherford Animal Shelter has received a $50,000 grant from Petco Love to increase pet ownership and reduce stray animals in Parker County
The funding will support billboard campaigns to promote adoptions, provide collars, leashes and QR code tags with every adoption, and fund vaccination and spay/neuter clinics. Microchip scanners will also be installed at the police station and fire stations to allow after-hours scanning of found pets.
This grant will help keep pets safe, healthy and in their homes.
