Dear Weatherford Residents,

Summer is here, and with it comes the energy, excitement, and community spirit we all love so much about our hometown

First and foremost, it’s rodeo season in Weatherford! This time of year is more than just a beloved tradition; it’s a celebration of our western heritage and the heart of what makes Parker County special. Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends the rodeo, live music, and community pride are second to none.

Speaking of summer fun, I’m happy to announce that Cherry Park Pool is now open! It’s the perfect place to cool off, connect with neighbors, and make lasting memories with your family. We encourage everyone to take advantage of all that the city has to offer

Looking ahead, July is packed with excitement. Be sure to mark your calendars for two signature events: Spark in the Park, our spectacular Independence Day celebration, and the 40th Annual Peach Festival, a true Parker County tradition you won’t want to miss. Food, fun, and festivities await!

As always, thank you for being the heart of this community. Stay safe, stay cool, and enjoy all that summer in Weatherford has to offer!

As spring turns to summer, now’s the perfect time to tidy up your yard! Remember to keep grass and weeds under 10 inches to stay in compliance with city code.

Regular mowing not only keeps your property looking great, it also helps prevent pests. Want a yard that’s both beautiful and low-maintenance? Consider adding native plants. They support local pollinators, boost biodiversity, and thrive with less water and upkeep.
