Pictures must be colored at the Youth Centre from 4:00 to 11:00 pm daily starting from April 6th to 9th. Prizes will be handed out on April 9th for each age categories.

Age categories are: 3 & 4, 5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, 15 & 16, 17 & 18. There are different pictures for each age group and pictures can be picked up at the office.

On Monday, April 5th the Dream Centre will open at 2:00 pm for children to come in and play some games, enter contests, have an egg hunt and just for a good time with their family.

There will be activities for the children to partake in due to the school break. There will be a Scavenger Hunt starting on Monday, April 5th.

Pick up a form from Marcella during the Easter celebrations. Cookie Decorating on Tuesday at 4:00 pm for ages 12 & under and Baking at 7:30 for ages 13 & over.

Wednesday is Movie Night at 5:00 and 8:00 pm, the movie is “Easter Special.” On Thursday you can show off your talents with a Pool Tournament for ages 12 & under and 13 & over. This starts at 4:00 pm. On Friday, the prizes will be handed out for the coloring contest and winners for the Scavenger Hunt will also be announced.

The week wraps up with a “Spring Dance” at 7:00 to 9:00 pm for ages 12 & under and 9:00 to 11:00 for ages 12 & over. Snacks and Drinks will be served.

This is due to the mud in the hallways, they are needed for gym, fire alarms, Shop class and the general health & safety of feet.

An overweight blonde went to see her doctor for some advice. The doctor advised that she run ten miles a day for thirty days. This, he promised, would help her lose as many as twenty pounds.

The blonde followed the doctor's advice, and, after thirty days, she was pleased to find that she had indeed lost the whole twenty pounds. She phoned the doctor and thanked him for the wonderful advice which produced such effective results.

At the end of the conversation, however, she asked one last question, “How do I get home, since I am now 300 miles away?"

While visiting a country school, the chairman of the Board of Education became provoked at noise the unruly students were making in the next room.

Angrily, he opened the door and grabbed one of the taller boys who seemed to be doing most of the talking. He dragged the boy to the next room and stood him in the corner.

A few minutes later, a small boy stuck his head in the room and pleaded, "Please, sir, may we have our teacher back?"

A fellow worker from our office had only a few months left on the job and he could be heard ticking off the weeks, days, hours and minutes.

Our manager was not amused, “I‟ve been at this job for 43 years,” he said, “and I‟ve never counted off the days until I‟m outta here.”

I couldn‟t help agreeing with him. “That‟s because everyone else is counting for you.”

Keeping a job takes just as much, if not more, effort than getting one. Use your job as an opportunity to show your employer that hiring you was an excellent move.

 Make yourself invaluable - learn a skill that few people in your workplace know. Be the one everyone approaches to proofread their work or fix their computer when it crashes.

 Be reliable - if you say you‟ll do something, do it. If you say you‟ll be somewhere, be there.  Be proactive - don‟t always wait to be told what to do. Look around, see what needs to be done, and do it.

 Be helpful - if a supervisor needs you to help a co-worker on a project, don‟t hesitate. Not only is it         

great to be known as a helpful person, you‟ll learn a few things and become an even more valuable employee along the way!

Be a team player - support your co-workers, encourage others to succeed and use your strengths in the workplace.

Dress for success - take the lead from your supervisor or co-workers. Maybe you need steel toe boots and coveralls, or a lab coat and safety glasses, or rain gear and rubber boots. Always wear clothes that are clean and in good condition.

Manage your emotions - out of control anger or over the top dramatics are not professional and could cost you your job.

Be a diplomat - use tact when discussing problems with others and choose your timing when everyone is calm.

Treat everyone with respect - your co-workers are your teammates. Mutual respect is the key to a healthy working environment.

Keep your workplace tidy - neatness is a signal to your manger that you‟re organized and in control of your work.

Be your employer’s cheerleader - speak well of the organization you work for even when you are away from work. Your employer will recognize your dedication and loyalty.

Be prepared - just about every job has some tools of the trade. Whether it‟s a screwdriver and a wrench or a camera and a tripod, be sure to have all your tools ready at all times and know how to use them.

Keep trying - after you‟ve been around for a few months, fight the urge to slack off. Job maintenance means you‟re in for the long haul. Strive for excellence and professionalism every day in everything you do.

Young Athlete Saskatchewan Summer Basketball Camps Advance registrations for one of Canada‟s longest running and most successful youth summer sports programs are currently being accepted.

The Young Athlete Saskatchewan (YAS) Summer Basketball School will hold camps all summer in Regina and Saskatoon in this, its 35th year.
