Nicole Petite, a woman of virtue and determination, has become known for her activism, mentorship, philanthropy, and public speaking. She has participated in speaking engagements at local high schools, church events, and forums. She is a co-founder of the $ix Figure Club, established in Mobile, AL, which is a careerguided organization for children of all grade school ages. The $ix Figure Club is a program centered around helping children discover six-figure careers that are commonly overlooked. This organization consists of college tours, exposure to upscale restaurants and etiquette, and $ix figure professionals. These professionals volunteer their time by educating the students on what it took to enter their careers and what obstacles they faced. Nicole believes that students need to be exposed to professionals that look like them in order to see themselves in these same career roles. She also provides financial literacy to the students by connecting them with financial professionals during the $ix Figure Club’s bi-weekly meetings. All of her alumni students bought mutual funds, with her youngest student being 5 years old at the time of purchase. She is also pursuing an organization in Huntsville to serve the same purpose. In her spare time, she is a blogger, author, and advocate for the communities she serves. By doing this, her goal is to bring better resources to the community and most importantly to the children of the community. Nicole started her Juneteenth Day Party in 2017 in Mobile, AL where she brings awareness to what the federal holiday represents and how it has shaped our communities. While bringing awareness to Juneteenth, she also raises funds to provide scholarships for Mobile’s high school graduates. This fundraiser was created to do two things; help lighten the financial impact of higher education and build wealth. She does this by providing a scholarship to these students that will allow a partial amount of the funds to be put in a mutual fund, stock, or other investment on their behalf, and the other portion goes to the student for school expenses.

When I first started out on my journey to becoming a professional speaker, I realized that you need credibility, trust, and an already existing audience to get paid. As didn’t have this 8 years ago, I had to start from the ground up, and speak at events, conferences, and trade shows for free. There are certain events that I do still speak at for free as I have a long-standing relationship with the organizers, and I do have other opportunities to educate their audience through webinars, online training, podcasts and guest blogging.
Being a successful professional speaker has been years of hard work, dedication and the ability to accept a knockback or two. I have, and still do approach events/trade shows and get turned down because I am not exactly what they are looking for in a professional speaker. I have found that the best way I can reach my target audience is through “education marketing”, and there really is no better way to reach your audience if you are offering a service. I get asked a lot about my speaking career, and how I have managed to earn 6 figures speaking at events all around the world. I want to break this down for you, and share with you HOW I became a professional speaker.
The Truth Is, Without Having The Speaking Platform That I Do, I Would Not Be As Successful As I Am In The Social Media And Digital Marketing World.
The best way for you to build a relationship is to always make it personal to that niche market and either over-deliver (which is always my favorite) or offer a discount on your product/service as part of a collaboration with that event. I go one step further and completely rebrand and re-write my book Chasing The Eagle and online training based on the industry and their target audience.
Almost all of the events/tradeshows I speak at on a regular basis, I am allowed to upsell at the end of my talk. This is key to a successful business, as this is where I make a lot of revenue. If you don’t have a product/service to upsell at the end of your talk, you will lose out on valuable business. Whether it’s a book, course, or any other kind of product/service, have this ready to showcase.
I have found that while I may generate 100 leads from a trade show, it is still an uphill battle to build trust before they feel 100% comfortable purchasing a product/service of mine. I run monthly webinars completely free of charge to all of my audience so that they get to know ME and WHO I am and how I can help. This is a great way to add value and to encourage a sale.
OFFLINE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT
Becoming an educator and influencer in your industry is key, and one of the best ways to do this is to run face-to-face training. I don’t only just “talk” at events, I also run workshops. This will also give my audience a chance to interact with me away from Social Media and Digital Marketing.

She has raised and donated more than $15,000. Her biggest year was 2019, she raised $6000.00 cash and $1000.00 in training donated from other companies that included resume writing and insurance adjuster licensing.

Nicole currently hosts her show “Inquisitive I Am” where she explores topics such as health, wealth, and subjects often disregarded in her community.
On her latest episode, she interviewed a prestigious mayoral candidate and also a recent winner of a Mobile District City Councilman. She has interviewed professionals from many fields, from basketball trainers to real estate gurus.

Nicole’s dream is to one day make this fundraiser a weekend event that includes celebrity guests and speakers, a concert, and a parade from part of her roots of Africatown to Downtown Mobile, AL.
She has published her first book titled “Focused, Fearless, and Fighting” which is about raising productive and ambitious children in today’s society. This book entails steps that explain how to raise and love our youth through each chapter of their lives from the womb to their senior year. It is a raw and uncut guide that focuses on non-judgmental parenting and how to get it done the best way we can. This book gives guidance for students who want to go to college and for those who don’t. An Inspired Life and Mindset Prosperity is basically living up to your purpose with the belief that you are worthy of the promise of God. When you have a prosperous mind, you set off an energy that will draw people and events to you that will help build you up to become successful… it’s about your attitude and outlook on life. Because energy is everything!
But first, in order to get into a position for a mindset change, you have to let go of things that are holding you back. It could mean getting rid of distractions, unhealthy relationships, along with whatever past pain that you’re going through. And to get through all of that is Forgiveness. Being able to forgive yourself as well as others in order to move forward with your life. You must to be able to identify what those barriers are that are stopping you from moving forward in order to reprogram your thought process to a better and more productive way of thinking. It’s about balance and harmony. The secret is to incorporate harmony in your life. I have learned that finding ways in order to balance things out takes more energy than it is to meet it in the middle and harmonize with whatever you’re dealing with. To have balance is learning to work through those challenges. To have harmony is to accept the challenges, understand and embrace them in order to have peace within. Yes, to have balance is important; but the key to balance is harmony!
If you block your blessing, you block your flow of prosperity. You are what you believe! It is also true that you become what you believe. Understand that words have power. So, speak the life that you want into existence. It is written, “As a man thinketh, so is he”. In other words, I think, therefore I am.
It’s not what you’ve been through, it’s how you came through!
Also, I believe you have to be relatable and transparent. It’s about building those solid relationships so people can resonate with you what you have to say. When it comes from the heart, that is where we are most impactful. Stay the course, Stay the journey, and just go for it!
I often get asked. “LaDonya, what inspires you to do what you do and want to inspire others? Why are you so passionate about it?”. I tell people all the time that in order to make your dream come true and bring your vision to life that you have to put in the work! And the best way that I can put it is the fact that it’s not about me… it’s about making a difference in the lives of others, one inspiration at a time.
If we are only willing to get out of our own way and realize that our only competition is the reflection that we see when we look in the mirror. You first have to know that you are worthy and believe in yourself. And if you don’t quite have that belief in yourself, then borrow the belief from someone else who does believe in you and stay encouraged. Confidence is Key!

For many years I knew there was a calling on my life. Often times you may not understand some of the things that you went through… but it was necessary!
Often times you may not understand some of the things that you went through, but you have to understand that those things were necessary. Because it’s not what you’ve been through, but how you came through! Just get started, right where you are. Remember, the world is not out to get us, it’s out to “Gift” us!
When I realized my “Why”, I knew I want to live and leave a legacy for women to know that they are beautiful, they are worthy, and that they can be PowHERful women of influence to rise up above your circumstances and make a positive impact in this world. My purpose is to speak life through the gift of inspiration to all within my circle of influence, and mainly to empower women and girls all over the nations and host events, conferences, and workshops, in order to transform and become the best versions of themselves by helping them also to find their purpose, and to believe that they too can be an inspiration to others. My message is quite simple… Change your Mindset, Change your Life! You definitely CAN have it all by Living An Inspired Life!
I was sitting right outside the grounds of Murray State University in Murray, KY at the Burrito Shack, and right across from me was a library built in 1930 with a classical architectural style. It was beautiful and churrigueresque. At the top of the building, words were engraved that said “The Hope of Democracy Depends on the Diffusion of Knowledge”. I’m always looking for the everyday messages that come to those who are seekers, tuned in, and walking in expectancy. Wednesday I attended a bible study online and the speaker made the statement that many do not like to read or be read to. I find that to be true in a world, society, and culture living in the fast lanes, too busy to digest and internalize nothing bigger than sound bites. A world willing to accept, embrace and hold on to that which is familiar or sounds and feels good without deeper searching of truth. A world where people find it challenging to be in the moment and stay present as wisdom, knowledge, realizations, and understanding pass by. I immediately took a picture and texted it to someone who would appreciate the power of the expression of those words. I said “we are in a time of the great dispersing of all kinds of knowledge concerning mankind and the world. Democracy and freedom are interesting thoughts and ideas. Yet our freedom in many aspects is based on the right knowledge.

Unfortunately, many are captive due to belief systems, embodiment, internalization, indoctrination, and education of knowledge that is in error, deceptive, empty, and dangerous. They are confused, not convicted, and not challenged, leaving no real authentic change, realization, transformation, or overcoming previous programming.

It’s critical that we all continue to seek and search out that which saves, that which is right and good. Isa5:20 says “Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

The hope of your freedom in all aspects depends on the right knowledge. Eventually, healers and medicine men of that time stopped blaming demons and spirits for every disease and searched for other explanations. They begin to think, observe, explore, experiment, and educate throughout the ages ushering in the right knowledge and understanding that has helped humanity progress towards best practices, better versions, next levels, and holistic treatments for total body wellness. Why do you believe what you believe? You can only teach as far as you know. John 8:32 says when you know the truth, it sets you free.
We all need a life side Triple-A (Awareness, Awakening, Accountability) for the information and knowledge that we caught and were taught. We all have a responsibility to keep growing and knowing. To uncover the deep secret and hidden things. Most folks are committed to this concept of knowledge but not the process of obtaining it.

WRITE A BOOK
I have spoken at various events across the nation, which has given me a platform to reach businesses internationally. As I am writing this, I am currently lecturing at a private university to MBA students. They are all holding a copy of my book.
ONLINE COURSES
Most events/tradeshows are offline, but because I talk about the “online world” I now offer a range of online courses for my audience to sign up to, which are completely online. After doing my research and realizing that people in the audience of my talks WANT online training which they can go back to as many times they like
GO INTERNATIONAL
I mentioned above that I rebrand and re-wrote my book Chasing The Eagle to give added value to the audience at an event/tradeshow. Having a book really does increase trust and because my book was nominated for “Marketing Book of the Year”, I have built a large amount of credibility.
I feel it’s so important to understand that we all have gifts and talents, but our gifts are not ours to keep to ourselves; they are designed to bless others. It’s our Divine obligation to pass on our knowledge, our gifts, to help each other grow. And it’s time that we begin to help each other, lift each other up, and support each other. The best thing you can give to the world is the Best part of you!

Truth be told my inspiration comes from You!... the people I meet, the people I connect with are and connected to, the people that God created. Because when you have a Vision and a passion in your soul, you can’t help but be inspired to work hard at it! You are in it to WIN it!
You see a lot of us are stuck between our comfort zones and self-doubt that hinders us from walking in our purpose and becoming the person God created us to be. But you know if you never take the first step, you’ll never take the second. So, take the leap afraid!
