Monthly Report for June Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serb Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) notfor-profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

About Us The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due too unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world be because of starvation and malnutrition. ion. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization rganization was formed by a group gr of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world with minimal, but bu constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing good and that you will join us in the endless e struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 • our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families; • our organization is satisfied with the results; • family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help.

Ambitions

Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations. Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid.

Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. How do we define “terrible poverty”? Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living. Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from socialdependable government programs. Indirectly, we want to affect on birth rate of Serbian people that has been in great decline in last 20 years. What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and manage to pay all required expenses and bills; • their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family;

Monthly Report for June HELP FOR THE GUTALJ FAMILY

The representatives of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from the Republic of Srpska on May 19 helped family Gutalj from the Eastern Sarajevo once again. The family now has two additional members. Although they live in difficult conditions, the oldest son of the single mother, Jovan, decided to form a family, so he got married and now he has a two months old baby.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 thanks everyone who had the understanding and wish to help them.

May God help us! _____________________________________________

FAMILY MALOVIĆ FROM SOKOLAC

None of the members of the family is permanently employed, so this seven-member family decided to ask us for help. We hope that the groceries we provided in the amount of 193 KM will make their lives a bit easier. Bojana just finished the 9th grade, and she plans to go to high school in hope for a better future. We made sure she had adequate clothing for ther junior graduation, and thus we brought back the smile on her face. The family

The Charity organization Serbs for Serbs visited the family of Kosa and Drago Malović, who have eleven children, of which five daughters and four sons live with them: Milka (16), Ivana (15), Božidar (13), Vladan (10), Radan (8), Jelena (7), Ljiljana (5), Mihajlo (3) and Marina (2). They receive the child benefit, but they live in difficult conditions in a house built by the

municipality Sokolac. Although the house is new, there is nothing in the house which would make their life easier. The father lost a regular job he had at DI Romanija, and the mother has always been dedicated to the children, so now they are unable to provide elementary conditions for life. The family doesn't have enough wardrobe nor the groceries. They want us to get them a wood-burning stove, because the winter lasts for 8 months on Romanija and Jahorina where they live. Their furniture consists of: the table, two sitting benches and a couple of beds which are falling apart. They need everything, but above all food and a stove.

We provided groceries in the amount of 198 KM which will solve part of their problems. On the day we visited them, their electricity was cut off, because of the debt they can't return. The younger children were happy to see us. They said that they would like to arrange their rooms, while the older ones were thinking of getting chickens and pigs which they could grow. We were happy to get some of the joy into that home, and hoping that we would soon be able to accomplish some of their wishes. May God help us!

A first phase is currently taking place, and the two remaining phases will follow. Monthly Report for June SFS VISITING FAMILY NIKOLIĆ

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 The host Stojan told us that no one can't believe that the house is nearly finished. The entire family has worked on the outer side of the house, which was finished in June.

Big project of building a house for family Nikolić is coming to an end! Members of the SfS from Niš visited the family Nikolić last week, in order to check the progress of the project. Instead of the house with inappropriate living conditions, big white house is dominating the area.

The house has to be finished in the inside. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs provided the means for the last phase of the project, and we hope that the 14member family will soon enjoy in its new home. Monthly Report for June SFS HELPED FAMILY VULIĆ

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 Nebojša and Suzana told us about the problems with the house (cracking of walls, leaks, failure of the installation etc), which they managed to fix on their own and with the help of friends and relatives. However, in order for the house to be safe, it needs a panel and an attic. Bearing in mind that, Nebojša has been working for several years on building a smaller house in his yard from the material he receives or finds, our representatives offered him to help him get the remaining material in order to finish the house and move there. Due to the planned actions during 2012, we agreed to leave the construction of the panel on the old house for spring 2013, which leaves enough time for the family and our organization to prepare for this demanding project.

On Sunday, June 17, the members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Belgrade visited family Vulić from Ostružnica. The family consists of the parents Nebojša and Suzana, their children Danilo (12), Dejan (9), Ksenija (6), Sava (4) and Marija who is a month old, and Nebojša's parents. Like most of the families with several children, the Vulić family is struggling to provide existence to their children. Nebojša is working in Radio-television Serbia and in his workshop, and the children are receiving a child benefit. The family has fruit, vegetables and several domestic animals. The children left quite an impression on us, above all due to their goodness, nobleness, nice behaviour, singing and recitation. It was beautiful to meet the children who are smart, beautiful and cheerful, but also spiritually rich. We believe it is a consequence of the relation with their parents and the orthodoxy in which they are growning up.

Before we left, we saw Marija, and agreed to provide help in the amount of 20,000 dinars, to get essential things for the baby, other children and the parents. We promised to the Vulić family that our organization will do its best to solve at least part of the concerns of the parents for the well-being of their children.

Monthly Report for June HELP FOR THE UROŠEVIĆ FAMILY

On Sunday, May 27, the representatives of our organization visited again the refugee family Urošević in their new home in Veliki Mokri Lug. They moved more than a month ago from the refugee camp in Krnjača into the newly built social apartments in Veliki Mokri Lug. The aim of our visit was to deliver them dishes and small packages of groceries and hygiene.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2012 The help we delivered was donated from the friends of the organization, first of all Mr. Bane, who is one of the most active friends-donors.

The situation of the family Urošević is still rather complicated, despite the fact they moved to the suitable apartment. They have problems with food supply, because the family receives no social help, and they don't have any income. Each member gets one meal in the social kitchen. The city promised to provide a job in a utility service for one of the members of the family, but they haven't fulfilled that promise.

SERBS FOR SERBS ON GAZIMESTAN

_____________________________________________

NEW COMPUTER FOR THE SCHOOL IN ZVEČAN Members, friends and donors of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs attended the celebration of Vidovdan on Kosovo and Metohija. A Liturgy was held in the courtyard of the Gračanica monastery, and then a dirge on Gazimestan for the Kosovo heroes from 1389 to these days, who gave their lives for the defense of the Serbian people, its land, orthodoxy and freedom.

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Switzerland provided a computer and a printer for the high school in Zvečan, attended by approximately 250 pupils. The computer equipment in the school is partly outdated, and it represents a problem in teaching. The quality of the teaching cannot improve without the inovations in ICT, which requires money which the school doesn't have. The computer equipment and a printer were delivered through the Charity organization Mother of nine Jugović from Gračanica. The representatives of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs managed to provide a computer and the necesarry equipment in a short notice, and promised that the action will continue in the future. The pupils and the teachers of the school were pleasantly surprised to have received the donation, and they sent gratitude to the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs. No surrender – Kosmet is Serbia!
