INSIDE THIS WEEK:

A previous Moor Street Night Market event.

Moor Street Night Market is back! THIS Friday (July 29) sees the return of Ormskirk’s much loved Moor Street Night Market, with local businesses coming together to offer a fun evening of entertainment, food and drink for visitors to the town centre. The first night market launched in 2017 and was hugely popular with visitors from the start. Held on the last Friday of each month, the market offers a great selection of street food and drinks, alongside live entertainment, and is organised and run by a number of Ormskirk’s own businesses. Dave Speak, manager of The Cricketers in Ormskirk said: “Moor Street Night Market is a great collaboration between several Ormskirk businesses, including The Cricketers, Tap Room No 12, Mylo & Co, Styles and Holborn Beer and Wines. “Our motivation is to showcase the town and its burgeoning food and drink scene and bring together residents from Ormskirk and the surrounding towns and villages for a regular celebration of great food, great drinks, and great music. “There’s no need to travel into Liverpool or elsewhere when this event is on your doorstep, so stick the Night Market on your calendar for the last Friday of every month from May to September!”
