FAMILY FIGHT TO KEEP ‘EVIL KILLER’ QUY BEHIND BARS

Daughter of murdered mum launches parole board petition MORE than 11,000 people have signed an online petition to keep ‘evil wife killer’ Mitchell Quy in prison after it was revealed that the sadistic murderer could be released next year. Robin Wilson, 23, the daughter of Lynsey Quy has launched the petition on change.org in a desperate bid to keep her mum’s killer behind bars after learning he could either be moved from a Category A to a Category B prison, an open prison or released. Quy is currently held in HM Prison Wakefield - a Category A jail which holds prisoners whose escape would be highly dangerous to the public or national security. The former casino croupier, who went on

Report by Danielle Thompson television several times to appeal for his missing wife to come home, was jailed in 2001 for a minimum of 17 years for strangling and then dismembering his wife’s body. For almost 18 months after Lynsey’s disappearance over Christmas 1998 at the age of 21, Quy maintained a callous pretence that she had left him for another man. He eventually admitted killing her and then cutting up her body as her children slept in a nearby room at their Southport home. Continued inside

Evil Mitchell Quy could be due for release from prison after serving 17 years for the murder of Lynsey.
