School’s salute to ever-present pupil Ciara . . . STAFF and fellow pupils at a Skelmersdale primary school have celebrated the achievements of Ciara Willis (above) who hasn’t missed a single day at school in seven years. The 11-year-old clocked her 100% attendance record at Holland Moor Primary. Michael Beale, headteacher at the school in Cornbrook, said: “Ciara has completed 1,330 school days at Holland Moor over the past seven years. She has not missed even a second of school time. She’s never been absent and she’s never been late. “All the staff have delighted in her successes and in the many ways she has seized every opportunity presented to her. “100 per cent attendance over an entire school career is an unparalleled achievement in the history of the school. “The whole school community has celebrated Ciara’s accomplishment and we hope it will be an inspiration to many other pupils.”
