This production would truly not have been possible without the support of our show sponsors (Julie Ireland and Scott Hansen State Farm Insurance), our season sponsors (Erin and Zach Sidwell, Gulfshore Home Care, Don Gurule and Laura Wright, HLH Law, Pulte Homes) as well as a small army of dedicated volunteers, family and friends who have poured themselves without reservation into this fantastic show!
When hurricane Milton came through, we had already lost a week of rehearsal with our turntable automation equipment (trapped in transit through the already hurricane-ravaged southeast); and lost crucial set build and rehearsal time, which we made up for using loaned generators from the Gluski family which powered shop tools and large fans to keep cool during rehearsal last weekend.
Our amazing lighting designer, Sterling, arrived from Kansas City 2 days later than originally planned due to flight cancelations, and worked around the clock with us to bring the show you see today to life. Our cast and families, director, choreographer, designers, technical and artistic directors have been committed to a level beyond professionalism; unwilling to lower their standards in the face of difficulty.
This title comes with a long list of advertising restrictions, as it is still on broadway and national tour. We have not been permitted to use paid promotion on social media, promote it in person on network television, etc. This has made getting the word out a big challenge, and we thank each and every one of you for finding your way here.
If you enjoy this production, we would be so grateful if you would go out on a limb to invite friends, family, etc. to our remaining performances.
Thank you all, once again.
