As the summer sun shines over SWFL, Arts Bonita is bursting with creativity, energy and inspiration. Whether you’re joining us for a performance, a class, or one of our vibrant summer camps, this is a season full of opportunity and imagination. We are proud to offer a rich lineup all summer long—because at Arts Bonita, we are committed to bringing you high-quality programming throughout the entire year, not just during peak season. Our doors are always open and there’s always something amazing to experience.
We’re especially excited to introduce our new Rolling Flex Passes—a game-changing way to experience the arts on your own schedule. This flexible ticketing option lets you pick any show, from any season and save. And when you pair your Flex Pass with a membership, you can save up to 25% on your arts experience. It’s our way of making sure that great performances are always within reach.
This summer, our youth camps are better than ever. Budding artists can explore a variety of disciplines through our popular block camps, while young creatives can dive deeper into their passions with specialized sessions in musical theater, digital arts and visual arts. These programs are more than just fun—they’re transformative experiences that build skills, confidence and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
But why should kids have all the fun? Adults can unleash their creativity too—check out our exciting lineup of classes in stone carving, metalwork, glass, pottery and all disciplines of painting. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, there's something here for you.
New performances, classes and events are always being added—so whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, there’s always something exciting to discover at Arts Bonita.
Thank you for being part of our growing family. We can’t wait to share the summer— and the seasons ahead—with you.
Warmest Wishes,
Alyona Ushe Executive Director, Arts Bonita

Horace Silver’s ensembles, compositions and piano playing defined one of the most musicallyrich periods of jazz: Hard Bop.
Silver’s music takes the fiery virtuosity of bebop, the soulful feeling of the blues and combines it with sophisticated (and catchy) arrangements and compositions. This concert celebrates the music of Silver’s benchmark album Horace-Scope with an all-star band assembled by Resident Artist Dr. Zachary Bartholomew who will be playing the role of Horace Silver in this energetic, swinging and blues-tinged show!
Resident Artist Dr. Zachary Bartholomew is an award-winning pianist, composer and music educator who maintains a highly active performance career as one of the most heavily soughtafter pianists, accompanists and sidemen in all of Florida. Since 2021 he has been awarded the prestigious “Artist Performance on Tour'' grant from the state of Florida for his “Jazz Access Tour,” an outreach program that aims to provide underserved communities and schools in Florida with world-class public performances and educational programs.

"I have been asked who put on the best show doing Buddy Holly. The guy I enjoyed hearing the most was Johnny Rogers. I’m also impressed with the way he does other artists and I would like to hear him again. His performance, look and mannerisms remind me of my brother." – Larry Holly (Buddy Holly’s brother)
"Johnny does the best Buddy Holly I’ve ever seen. I must say Johnny is the best showman I’ve ever performed with. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t do." – Tommy Allsup (Buddy Holly’s former guitarist)
Step into a musical time machine with Johnny Rogers. From the birth of rockabilly to the glory days of classic rock, Rogers brings to life the legendary sounds of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Roy Orbison and many more. With spot-on vocals, awesome guitar work and incredible showmanship, Rogers doesn’t just perform the hits — he becomes the legends. This high-octane, family-friendly show will have you dancing in the aisles and singing every word.
