FOR YOUR SAFETY
We are proud to be a safe and healthy place for students to learn and grow.
We are following CDC, State of Florida and Health Department guidelines and our own regularly scheduled disinfection practices of all spaces including all high-touch surfaces such as doors, sinks, tables, chairs, etc.
Hand sanitizer is available at all building entrances and in each class.
Lastly, we ask that parents and guardians keep sick children at home and follow the advice of your health care professionals with regard to your entire family’s health. For everyone’s protection, we will call you and require you to pick up your child if your child displays symptoms of covid, flu or respiratory virus.
WELCOME TO CFABS!
The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs provides resources and mentoring for developing minds to further their interests in the visual and performing arts. We are the Center for kids with a creative passion—the ones who color outside the lines—who crush sidewalk chalk and make their own paint—who build cardboard cities—the kids who are drawn to music and dance—and can’t wait to act it all out on stage. We are here to help unleash their creativity and watch their love for the arts grow!
DISCOUNTS/SCHOLARSHIPS
‘Arts for All’ is a very important concept for the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs. We strive to ensure that all area children have access to our many programs. We make classes more affordable through discounts and scholarships. These financial aid programs take many factors into consideration—they are awarded on a sliding scale based on adjusted gross income; number of dependents in the family; whether you rent or own your home; single parent status; how many children in your family intend to take classes; and how many classes your child takes. We encourage you to complete the Scholarship Application Form located at the back of this catalog. Over 85% of our students receive discounts/scholarships.

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.
Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly lovable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however—the school’s mean headmistress Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!
Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR. is a joyous kid-power romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.

COBLEJULY 21-23
THIS
PRODUCTION CONTAINS MATURE THEMES
Devised from interviews with Florida high school and college students, this powerful script written by Broadway playwright Eric Coble brings student voices into the conversations surrounding gun violence by distilling real daily conversations into the dialogue of 10 characters from different political, economic, and family backgrounds.
Storyline: Teenager Cloe accidentally sees a list of names another student is compiling. Is it a hit list for a planned school shooting, or is it something more innocent? Now Cloe has one night to make the hardest decision she’s ever faced: Say nothing and risk a mass tragedy, or report the student and possibly ruin his life over nothing. In a cascading series of phone calls, Cloe, her friends and two adults race against the clock to find the balance between responsibility and panic. Active shooter drills are supposed to prepare students to survive, but what’s preparing them to live under a constant threat of violence?

ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL JR.
Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR. is a joyous girl-power romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.
PERFORMANCES JUNE 16TH-18TH
BULLETPROOF BACKPACK
BY ERIC COBLETHIS PRODUCTION CONTAINS MATURE THEMES
Teenager Cloe accidentally sees a list of names another student is compiling.
