When Sasha first came to CFCC, she was 17 years old and carrying more weight than any teenager should have to bear. Referred by her pediatrician, she was struggling with persistent anxiety, difficulty sleeping, and self-harming behaviors that had begun to affect every part of her daily life. Irritability and restlessness followed her into school, home, and relationships, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and disconnected.
Sasha was matched with a Center for Child Counseling therapist who met her exactly where she was. Over the course of a year, they worked together to build coping skills for anxiety, strengthen emotional regulation, and nurture a healthier sense of self-worth. Session by session, progress began to take root. Sasha learned how to recognize her triggers, respond to stress in safer ways, and replace self-criticism with self-compassion.
Today, Sasha’s story looks very different. At her most recent review, she had been free from self-harm for four months. She reported improved sleep, better emotional balance, and a renewed sense of control over her feelings. While her journey continues, the growth she has made is meaningful and lasting.
Sasha’s story reflects what is possible when evidence-based treatment, consistency, and compassionate care come together. Every day, CFCC therapists walk alongside youth like Sasha, helping them move from survival to healing, one session at a time.
This is what healing looks like when consistency and evidencebased care meet compassion.
This quarter, we continued to grow with intention expanding access to care, strengthening the quality of services, and investing in systems that ensure lasting impact Through education, prevention, and evidencebased intervention, children and families across Palm Beach County are finding support earlier, closer to home, and in ways that build resilience for the long term
Access to care is most effective when it is embedded in places children already know and trust This quarter, CFCC expanded school-based services to UB Kinsey Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary, bringing the total number of co-located sites to 37+ locations across Palm Beach County
By integrating services directly into schools, we can remove barriers, promotes early intervention, and strengthens partnerships that create safer, more connected learning environments where students and families can thrive.

Our SNAP Youth Justice program reached an important milestone this quarter with the completion of its first full group Youth and caregivers reported improved coping strategies, stronger emotional regulation, and healthier family dynamics
Through structured skill-building and familycentered support, SNAP provides safety, structure, and hope to families navigating complex challenges When families learn together, resilience grows and positive change becomes possible

This quarter marked the launch of CFCC University, a centralized learning initiative designed to strengthen how care is delivered across every program. By unifying BeKidSafe.org, live workshops, reflective supervision, and professional development, CFCC University ensures consistent, high-quality, evidence-based practice at every point of service.
This investment goes beyond training. It equips professionals with the tools to respond with empathy, steadiness, and confidence strengthening outcomes for children, families, and the communities that support them.
Partnership is at the core of our ability to create lasting change. Through strong collaboration with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, our services are now co-located in 37+ sites across Palm Beach County, expanding access to care and strengthening the systems that support children and families. These trusted partnerships allow us to meet communities where they are and build resilience through connection, prevention, and shared responsibility.
Our partnership with Opportunity Early Childhood Education and Family Center continues to thrive through embedded, on-site services that support children, families and staff By working directly within classrooms, CFCC provides hands-on support that strengthens children’s mental health and resilience while equipping educators with practical tools to foster social-emotional growth and well-being
We partner with incredible community organizations such as Rohi’s Readery, bringing our team and mobile unit directly on-site to support children and families in familiar, trusted spaces. By embedding care within the community, we help create environments rooted in consistency, connection and hope. Rohi’s leadership and board expressed deep appreciation for the presence of our staff, sharing that our team brought a sense of light, stability, and belonging to our community.

Through our partnership with Esperanza Community Center, our Education and Prevention Services team provides on-site, bilingual programming designed to support the mental health and well-being of both children and their caregivers. By offering services in English and Spanish, CFCC reduces barriers to access and ensures families can engage in care in the language they are most comfortable using. These group-based supports foster connection, strengthen coping skills, and promote resilience, allowing families to feel seen, understood, and supported.

We are grateful for the continued growth of our partnerships, with services now embedded in more than 37 sites across Palm Beach County. From community organizations and schools to pediatric offices through our partnership with Palm Beach Pediatrics, we are integrated into the places families already trust. Baubles and Baskets was a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and compassion. Supporters, volunteers, and friends gathered for a festive evening filled with music, delicious appetizers, and beautifully curated chancedrawing prizes, all in support of CFCC’s critical trauma services for children and families.
The energy in the room was unmistakable. With more than 75 attendees, sold-out raffle tickets, and 33 thoughtfully donated baskets and prizes, the evening reflected the extraordinary generosity of those who believe deeply in CFCC’s mission. Guests lingered, laughed, and connected, united by a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
More than a holiday gathering, Baubles and Baskets was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with purpose. Every ticket purchased and every basket donated helped strengthen programs that bring healing, hope, and resilience to children and families across our community. It was a beautiful way to kick off the holiday season and a heartfelt example of impact in action.

As we look to the year ahead, we do so with clarity, momentum, and deep optimism. The foundation built in 2025 positions us to continue expanding access to care, strengthening prevention efforts, and reaching more children and families with trauma- and HOPE-informed support across our community.
At the heart of what’s next is the launch of our transformative HOPE is Action public health campaign. This initiative will elevate awareness, spark conversation, and mobilize collective action around the science of resilience, early relationships, and healing. It reflects our belief that hope is not passive—it is something we build together through education, connection, and care.
The year ahead will also bring opportunities for our community to gather, learn, and engage. Beginning this spring, CFCC will host a series of events designed to inspire understanding, share evidence-based solutions, and strengthen the network of individuals committed to children’s mental health and well-being.
Together, we are turning knowledge into action—and possibility into lasting change.

With the generous support of Wycliffe Charities, we have expanded access to critical trauma services for children and families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. This partnership has strengthened our ability to respond early, intervene effectively, and provide healing-centered care for children impacted by trauma often before crises escalate.
Through this collaboration, CFCC has delivered comprehensive therapeutic services that support both children and their caregivers. From individual therapy and parenting groups to specialized programs such as ChildNet assessments, Wycliffe Charities’ investment has helped ensure that families receive timely, evidence-based support tailored to their unique needs

ChildNet Assessments: With the generous support from Wycliffe Charities, we have conducted 82 ChildNet Assessments, which have proven vital in identifying the specific needs of children at risk for entering the foster care system. This targeted approach allows us to tailor therapeutic interventions effectively and make appropriate recommendations for each child.
Our team has provided therapy sessions to 372 children and families presenting with trauma symptoms and has connected 699 clients to early intervention services. Utilizing evidence-based practices, participants reported significant improvement in coping skills and emotional regulation, demonstrating the effectiveness of our therapeutic services.
