Brenda Berrocal Titulada en comunicación social y periodismo impreso. Ha trabajado para directores y agrupaciones teatrales en Venezuela. Su trabajo en el área cultural ha sido reconocido en publicaciones como la revista En Escena y el semanario Quinto Día. En Barcelona fue representante de prensa y RRPP del grupo de teatro Abrapalabra y fue colaboradora en el periódico Mundo Hispano. Coordinadora de Atletas en Acción de la Iglesia La Viña Cuidad Condal y Correctora en español de la revista Celestial Nor. Degree in Social Communication and print journalism. Worked for directors and theater groups in Venezuela. Her work in the cultural field has been recognized in publications such as the Journal Quito Día and the magazine En Escena. In Barcelona was a press representative and public relations for the theater group Abrapalabra and a collaborator in the newspaper Mundo Hispano. Athletes in Action Coordinator for the Vine Church County City and Spanish Proofreader for the Celestial Nor magazine.

Ibrahim Fajardo Estudió comunicación social, periodismo e historia de la música pop; también un año de filosofía. Fue corrector de textos para una editorial. Es escritor, redactor, poeta, compositor y letrista. Actualmente trabaja como traductor general de español-ingles y colabora con sus artículos y poemas para la revista Celestial Nor. He studied social communication, journalism & pop-music´ s history; also a year of philosophy. He is a writer, poet, writer, composer and musician. He currently Works as a Spanish-English translator and collaborates with his poems and articles for the Celestial Nor magazine.

Juanjo Conejo Obtuvo la titulación en teología del seminario INSTE. Colabora con entidades sociales que luchan por el bienestar de la gente de la tercera edad, fundaciones contra el aborto y asociaciones que luchan contra la fibromialgia.

Es poeta y escribe relatos cortos y artículos para varias revistas comarcales (impresas y digitales). Es colaborador habitual de Celestial Nor. Obtained his degree in theology from the seminar INSTE. El 21 de este mes se celebró en EE.UU. El Día de Martin Luther King Jr. Él luchó por los derechos de las personas de color y estuvo contra el racismo.

Por tal razón meditemos en como podemos mejorar la sociedad siendo luz en la oscuridad y dejándonos ser usados por la voluntad de Jehová. ¿Te apasiona alguna causa en particular? (tráfico humano, pobreza, maltrato infantil, abuso doméstico, personas sin techo, contaminación medio ambiental, ecología y/o derechos humanos).

On the 21st of this month USA celebrated the Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He fought for the rights of color people and was against racism.

For this reason lets meditate on how we can improve society by being light in the dark and allowing ourselves to be used by the will of the Lord. Are you passionate about a particular cause? a ONG’s y/o ministerios que luchan por el bien común. Puedes donar tu tiempo como voluntario, en tareas administrativas o cualquier otra labor donde puedas usar tus conocimientos y experiencia; inclusive en áreas que te gustaría participar aún sin tener habilidades. Si no tienes tiempo entonces dona objetos, materiales u otras ayudas tangibles. a páginas webs como: change.org, avaaz.org, causes.com entre otras. Éstas sirven para que instituciones e individuos denuncien todo tipo de injusticias. Para ello necesitan que rellenes las peticiones de firmas. a manifestaciones, reuniones, páginas web, blogs, foros y comunidades donde se discutan sobre los temas solidarios al que quieres pertenecer. a las personas donde vives para hacer un pequeño gesto de cambio. Por ejemplo, reciclar ¿Tan difícil es separar el plástico, cartón, vidrio, orgánico, pilas y madera en diferentes bolsas y depositarlas en sus contenedores correspondientes? a la limpieza general. Saca todas las cosas que no utilizas, dónalas a personas necesitadas, ONG’s o centros de donaciones. Véndelas y da el dinero a causas solidarias o asociaciones.

LA NECESIDAD DE DIOS

THE NEED OF GOD

Dios es el creador del cielo y de la tierra (Génesis 2:4-6), quien separó la luz de la oscuridad (Génesis 1:3-5). Dios también es un gran poeta, aunque no le hayan dado aún un Premio Nobel. Porque cuánta poesía hay en cada amanecer, en cada atardecer, en los picos de los pájaros besándose, en los peces, en los delfines nadando en el mar, en el caballo que corre, a toda prisa, por la llanura, en la mariposa que vuela con gracia por el aire, en los colibríes y las flores, en las abejas que liban la miel, en el arcoíris que es como un puente de amor, que nos recuerda la promesa de Dios a Noé de no acabar el mundo con el agua (Génesis 9:11-17).

God is the creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 2:4-6), who separated the light from the darkness (Genesis 1:3-5). God is also a great poet, but have not yet given a Nobel Prize. For how much poetry there is in every sunrise, every sunset, peaks in birds kissing, on fishes, dolphins swimming in the sea, in the horse running, hastily, across the plain, in the butterfly flying gracefully through the air, hummingbirds and flowers, bees foraging on honey, in the rainbow that is like a bridge of love, which reminds us of God's promise to Noah not to destroy the world with water (Genesis 9:11-17).

Dios es fuente de vida y de alegría. También Dios es autosuficiente, es Omnipresente y Omnipotente. Él se basta a sí mismo. Sin embargo, Dios necesita del humano y lo necesita de muchas formas, en una “aparente contradicción”: Dios “necesita” que los humanos escuchen su Palabra, que la mediten en sus corazones y que luego las lleven a la práctica, al día a día, para así hacer de éste un mundo mejor; “necesita” que las manos de los humanos ayuden a su hermano; “necesita” que el humano se adentre en el camino que lleva a la paz, al sosiego, a la vida, a la salvación eterna. Dios se basta a sí mismo, sí, pero de alguna forma “necesita” que los humanos vivan como hijos suyos, que cada uno haga de su vida algo hermoso, como un árbol que da muchos frutos, como una paleta llena de colores.

Dios está necesitado de humanos arrepentidos, doloridos, de humanos que estén en vigilia, rezando, orando, evangelizando, construyendo el reino de Dios aquí en la Tierra. Cada quien poniendo su “granito de arena”.

Dios está necesitado de humanos que se alejen del camino del mal, que luchen por la verdad y se esfuercen en no decir más mentiras. Necesita de humanos que condenen al exilio las malas palabras, las burlas, el falso testimonio, la avaricia, la intriga, la envidia, el egoísmo, la maldad, la búsqueda del interés y el lucro en cada actividad humana.

Ciertamente, Dios es Omnipresente y Omnipotente, eso es así y será siempre así, pero “necesita” que nos amemos los unos a los otros, así como Él nos ha amado (Evangelio de San Juan, 13:34-35).

God is the source of life and joy. Also God is self-sufficient, is Omnipresent and Omnipotent. He is sufficient unto itself. But God needs human and needs them in many ways, in an "apparent contradiction": God "needs" humans to hear his Word, that ponder in their hearts and then put them into practice, day by day, thus making this a better world, "needs" humans hands to help his/her brother/sister; "needs" humans to embark on the road leading them to peace, the serenity, to life, to eternal salvation. God is sufficient unto itself, yes, but somehow He "needs" humans to live as his children, who each make of your life something beautiful, like a tree that bears much fruit, and a full palette of colors.

God is human in need of repentance, aching, humans who are awake, praying, praying, evangelizing, building the kingdom of God here on Earth. Everyone put their "two cents".

God is in need of humans to stay away from the path of evil, to fight for truth and strive to say no more lies. Human needs into exile condemn swearing, teasing, perjury, greed, intrigue, envy, selfishness, evil, the pursuit of interest and profit in every human activity.

Surely God is omnipresent and omnipotent, that's well and will always be so, but "needs" that we love one another as He has loved us (Gospel of St. John, 13:34-35).

“Necesita” de seres humanos que cultiven la virtud, especialmente de personas sencillas y humildes de corazón que reconozcan que necesitan de Él, que dependen de Él, que lo tengan en cuenta y presente en su vida, en sus acciones.

"Needs" human beings who cultivate virtue, especially people who are simple and humble of heart to recognize that need him, that depend on it, take it into account and present in your life, in your actions.

Camino por las calles de la urbanización en un día cualquiera y llego a una parte donde crece el monte.

Y allí me quedo un rato, mirando las florecillas silvestres que surgen allí, entre el monte. Y logro ver también muchas mariposas volando por los alrededores. Y eso constituye para mí un espectáculo hermoso y gratuito, porque veo muchas mariposas posándose sobre las flores. Noto lo delicadas que ellas son, tanto las mariposas como las flores. Y entonces me digo a mí mismo que Dios es amor (1era de Juan 4: 8), ternura, dulzura, trabajo, minuciosidad, delicadeza, pequeños y grandes detalles de amor. Y también pienso que Dios es Todopoderoso. Pero Él necesita de personas que quieran conservar la casa de la humanidad, el planeta; de personas que quieran hacer de su vida una canción de amor, un poema de amor.

I walk the streets of the community on any given day and I get to a part where the bush grows. And I stay there for a while, looking at the wild flowers emerging there, among it.

And I get to see too many butterflies flying around. And that to me is a beautiful and free sight, because I see many butterflies landing on flowers. Notice how delicate they are both butterflies and flowers. And then I tell myself that God is love (1st John 4: 8), tenderness, sweetness, work, thoroughness, gentleness, small and large details of love. And I also think that God is Almighty. But He needs people who want to keep the home of humanity, the planet; of people who want to make their life a love song, a love poem.

Dios está necesitado de personas que más bien se concentren en buscar los bienes verdaderos, los bienes del cielo, los bienes de arriba.

Necesita de humanos que sean como ovejas, mansas, obedientes, que reconozcan la voz del buen pastor, que formen un solo rebaño.

Dios “necesita” de personas que tengan una fe viva, una ardiente caridad, una fe viva con obras, con hechos, con hermosas muestras de amor, que sean como los árboles que dan frutos, porque esos frutos Él los guardará en el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, en un lugar muy especial. Dios “necesita” de oídos que oigan, de ojos que vean, de corazones que se abran como una flor cuando quiere ser acariciada por los rayos del sol. Además “necesita” que los humanos oren o pidan por sus hermanos para que así pueda haber muchas conversiones a Él; para que de esa manera, muchas personas vivan pendiente de Dios y no de espaldas a Él.

Dios es autosuficiente, se basta a sí mismo, claro que sí. Es Omnipresente y Omnipotente, siempre ha sido así y será así. Pero de alguna forma “necesita” de los humanos, en una “aparente contradicción”, porque Él es espíritu (Evangelio de Juan, 4:23-24) y necesita de nosotros que somos espíritu, alma y cuerpo y que somos sus hijos que estamos de paso, de peregrinación, en esta tierra, en este mundo, para que algún día nos encontremos con Él ya en la Autor: Ibrahim Fajardo plenitud de la vida.

God is in need of people rather concentrate on finding the real goods, the goods of heaven, heavenly things. Human needs to be like sheep, gentle, obedient, to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd, to form a single herd.

God "needs" of people who have a living faith, an ardent charity, a living faith with works, with facts, with beautiful examples of love, you are like trees that bear fruit, because these fruits He saved at Sacred Heart Jesus, in a very special place. God "needs" ears to hear, eyes to see, hearts to open like a flower when He wants to be caressed by the rays of the sun. Besides He "needs" humans to pray or to ask for his brothers so there can be many conversions to Him; so that way many people living aware of God and not on his back.

God is auto-sufficient, self-sufficient, yes. Is Omnipresent and Omnipotent, always has been and will be so. But somehow He "needs" of humans, in an "apparent contradiction", because He is spirit ( Gospel of John, 4:23-24) and requires of us that we are spirit, soul and body and that we are his children who are on the way, of pilgrimage on this earth, in this world, so that one day we meet Him and in the fullness of life.

ArtistArtist-a Andrew Culatto Celestial Nor: ¿Qué te hizo convertirte en un artista?

Andrew Culatto: Mi padre John Culatto es un artista muy conocido en Gibraltar. Fui influenciado por él, pero fue algo que vino muy natural en mí.

CN: ¿Cuáles son tus habilidades?

AC: Yo dibujo, ilustro, hago retratos, desarrollo murales de grandes escalas, pinto fachadas de edificios, pinto a mano los signos o carteles y también creo esculturas.

CN: ¿Cuáles técnicas utilizas?

AC: Yo uso principalmente acrílicos para mis lienzos, pinturas acrílicas y plásticas a base de agua para murales y pasteles para retratos y algunos de mis dibujos. Otras técnicas son paredes de pintura con protección exterior, barnizado, acabados de alto brillo, diseños de interiores temáticos únicos y efectos “esponja y trapo”.

CN: ¿Puede compartir la lista de tus proyectos?

AC: Pinté para empresas, bares deportivos, cafés de surfistas, ludotecas, escuelas, habitaciones de niños, salas de hogares, también he realizado ilustraciones para un documental en Gibraltar. Especialmente me gustó hacer el mural en la café club de surf, desde ahí empecé a hacer murales.

CN: ¿Cuál es la historia detrás del nombre de tu negocio, Sasha Décor?

AC: Durante un tiempo tuve a un joven como a un hijo, llamado Alexander. En ruso el nombre más corto es Sasha, que me gustó y así le puse a mi negocio de arte.

CN: Tú naciste en Gibraltar, estudiaste arte en el Reino Unido y vives en Mijas, Costa del Sol, Andalucía. ¿Qué te hizo mudarte a España?

AC: Yo clamé a Dios por dirección y aquí es donde Él abrió las puertas para mí.

Personal • Moral • Honor Andrew Culatto Celestial Nor: What made you become an artist?

Andrew Culatto: My father John Culatto is a well-known artist in Gibraltar, I got influenced by him, but It was something that came very natural to me.

CN: what are your abilities?

AC: I draw, illustrate, do portraits, develop big scale murals, paint outdoor buildings, hand painted signs, and also create sculptures.

CN: Which techniques you use?

AC: I use mainly acrylics for my paintings, water based plastic and acrylic paints for murals and pastels for portraits and some of my drawings. Other techniques are painting walls exterior protection, varnishing and staining, high-gloss finishes, unique themed interior designs, “sponge and rag” effects.

CN: Can you share the list of your projects?

AC: I painted for businesses, sports bar, surf cafés, schools, kid´s rooms, living room for homes; I have also done illustrations for a documentary in Gibraltar. I especially liked doing the mural in the surf cafe and that’s what got me started doing murals.

CN: What's the story behind your business name, Sasha Décor?

AC: For a while I took a boy as a son, called Alexander. In Russian the shorter name is Sasha, which I liked it for my art business.

CN: You born in Gibraltar, studied art in UK & live in Mijas, Costa del Sol, Andalucía. What made you move to Spain?

AC: I cried out to God for direction and this is where He opened the doors for me.

CN: ¿Cuál es tu formación?

AC: Yo estaba en una escuela bíblica en Mijas y estudié cuatro años académicos en el Reino Unido. Un año haciendo un curso básico de arte en Falmouth y tres años estudiando ilustración en Swansea, Gales.

CN: ¿Cómo conociste a Jesucristo?

AC: Tenía veinte años y fumé un porro grande para probarlo y tuve el peor momento de mi vida. Después de eso me sentía distante de la vida y temeroso. Dios me habló por medio de un músico y la Biblia.

Encontré las palabras de Jesús tan puras que pensé como los discípulos dijeron: "¿dónde más vamos a ir? ¡Sólo tú tienes palabras de vida eterna!"

CN: ¿Qué le dirías al fumador de cannabis?

AC: ¡Olvídate de las drogas! ¡Lucha por lo que te gusta! ¡Hay que lidiar con la raíz! ¡Siembra un poco de fruta! Se activo y creativo y ¡Tratar de vivir tus sueños! ¡Todo es posible!

CN: ¿Quieres añadir una reflexión personal o mensaje bíblico para compartir con los lectores de la revista Celestial Nor? AC: Ama a Dios sobre todas las cosas y a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.

CN: ¿Haces voluntariado?

ArtistArtist-a CN: What´s your education?

AC: I was in a Bible school in Mijas and studied four academic years in the UK. A year doing an art foundation course in Falmouth and three years studying illustration in Swansea, Wales.

CN: How you met Jesus Christ?

AC: I was about twenty and smoked a big joint to try it out and had the worst time of my life.

After that I felt distant from life and fearful. God spoke to me through a musician and the Bible. I found the words of Jesus so pure that I thought as the disciples said: "where else shall we go?

Only you have the words of eternal life!"

CN: What would you tell a weed smoker?

AC: Forget pot! Fight for what you love! Deal with the root! Grow some fruit!

Be active and creative! Try living out your dreams! All things are possible!

CN: Do you want to add a personal thought or biblical message to share with CN readers?

AC: Love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself.

CN: Do you volunteer?

AC: I translate on Sundays in Palabras De Poder Church, a NGO that feed many families in the coast, I am indirectly involved.

Príncipe de paz es Jesucristo hacedor del bien, dador de vida murió, en una cruz, por darnos vida y lo encontraban en los pueblecitos.

Prince of Peace is Jesus Christ doer of good, life-giving He died on a cross, to give us life and they found him in the villages.

Sanó a enfermos y curó a leprosos toda la gente se le acercaba pues vieron en él alguien bondadoso.

Mi padre me envió a EE.UU. a estudiar la secundaria.

Fui la única sin inglés nativo en mi escuela y en el pequeño pueblo. Yo no sabía ni una palabra del idioma, por eso me colocaron en las clases más bajas, las de niños con problemas de aprendizaje. Incluso me hicieron una prueba de aptitud, ya que pensaban que tenía discapacidad mental. ¡Gracias a Dios que salí normal!

My father sent me to the USA to study in a H.S. were I was the only non-local English native speaker in my school & in the little town. I didn´t know a word of English, because of that, the H.S. placed me in the lowest classes, mostly for kids with learning disabilities. They even made me take a level test for learning skill as they thought I was mentally impaired. Thank God I turn out ok!

En todos mis años en la escuela me sentía sola debido al racismo que enfrentaba. Sí, hace 20 años existía una fuerte discriminación. Chicos altos con grandes músculos se acercaban para decirme en mi cara lo mucho que me odiaban, de cómo iban a matarme, me despreciaban con palabras crueles, fingía que no entendía, por lo que decidieron mostrarme en dibujos y pinturas donde ellos aparecían que me estaban matando con rifles, cuchillos y yo sangrando.

Incluso llegaron después de la medianoche para asustarnos en casa y hacer maldad. Sentimos como si el KKK se acercaba a nosotros. La policía probablemente era también racista, como todo el pueblo lo era, porque no hicieron nada para resolverlo, sino que sospecharon que mi hermano había sido parte del grupo de jóvenes que estaban haciendo vandalismo.

Después de haber recogido un par de pinturas, mi madre por fin tenia pruebas de racismo hacia mí y nos armamos de coraje y valentía para enfrentar a la escuela, pero ellos no hicieron mucho al respecto.

Aunque al menos si algo sucedía a mí o a mi familia todos eran sospechosos de racismo. Algunos estudiantes fueron maquinando mi muerte. Tuve que dejar mi clase de fotografía después de que un montón de chicos musculosos comienzan a llegar al cuarto oscuro para revelar fotografías, algunos de los chicos fueron los mismos que me dieron las pinturas donde me estaban matando o yo parecía muerta.

Desde ese momento ha habido muchas tragedias escolares. Sandy Hook es el más reciente. ¿Por qué menciono esto? Bueno, yo me convertía de niña a adolescente y me encontré con racismo, intimidación, segregación, obstáculos; todo el mundo me denigraba y pisoteaba. Por lo tanto cada día tuve pensamientos horribles de matar a esas personas que me estaban lastimando. Todos los días me enfrentaba a la batalla entre el bien y el mal. En esos años yo nací de nuevo y recibí a Jesucristo como mi salvador; realmente le agradezco al Señor. Jesucristo estuvo allí conmigo en esos momentos difíciles y Dios me protegió en esas duras experiencias. De lo contrario yo ya estaría muerta o la escuela y el pueblo hubiesen estado en las noticias por razones similares a las de Sandy Hook.

In all my school years I was lonely due to the racism I faced, yes back then, 20 years ago there was a strong discrimination. Tall boys with big muscles used to tell me on my face how much they hate me, how they were going to kill me, they despised me with cruel words, I pretended as if I didn´t understand them, so they decided to show me in draws & paints, on the papers they were killing me with rifles, knives while I was bleeding in the pictures. They even came after midnight to scare us at home & do harm, we felt as if the KKK was coming to us.

Police probably were racists too, as the whole town was, because they didn´t do a thing to solve it, instead they suspected & accused my brother been part of the group of vandalistic boys.

After I collected a couple of paints my mother finally had proves of racism towards me and we took the courage to confront the school; but nothing improved. Some students were planning my death, I suddenly had to leave my photography class after a bunch of huge boys started to come to the dark room to develop photographs, some of the boys were the same who gave me the paints were they were killing me or I appeared death.

From that moment on there has been many school tragedies, the most recent Sandy Hook. Why I mention this? Well I was a girl turning into a teen, I faced racism, bullying, segregation, obstacles, everyone was putting me down and denigrating me. Therefore each day I had horrible thoughts to kill those people who were hurting me, everyday I faced the battle of good & evil, in those years I born again & received Jesus Christ as my savior, I truly do thank the Lord! Jesus Christ was there with me at those difficult moments & God protected me in those horrible experiences, otherwise I would be dead long time ago or my school & town would had been in the news for similar reasons Sandy Hook.

CN: ¿Cómo empezaste dtproject?

DT: En la música llevo casi veinte años, empecé en una banda cristiana llamada Shekinah como bajista, donde permanecí cinco años, luego fundé a-custica, una banda que tuvo importante repercusión en las islas sobre todo con su segundo álbum “Donde estabas tú”. Al mismo tiempo comencé como crítico musical escribiendo para prensa y tras varios años de trabajo abandoné la banda por diferencias en los objetivos de la banda. Ese mismo año a acogí una niña saharaui en verano por el periodo de dos meses dentro del programa “Vacaciones en paz”, noté que había poca información y concienciación así que decidí realizar un documental para potenciar el programa de acogida. Ya estaba en el proceso de una nueva producción musical, así que todo el proyecto giró con un nuevo enfoque. Varios artistas se unieron al proyecto que lanzamos en 2005 consiguiendo un impacto que no esperábamos y llegando a proyectarse en más de ocho países, a partir de ahí no han parado de surgir proyectos de cooperación, llevando la música a lugares como Liberia, India o Tailandia, de allí dtproject se convierte en lo que es hoy, una plataforma de artistas que desarrolla proyectos de cooperación, información y concienciación para ayudar a los más desfavorecidos.

CN: How did you start dtproject?

DT: In music took almost twenty years, I started a band called Shekinah Christian on bass, where I stayed for five years, then melts at-custica, a band that had significant impact on the islands especially with their second album "Where were you ". Several artists joined the project launched in 2005 getting an impact and did not expect the project to come in over eight countries, from there it have not stopped the cooperation projects. Music in places like Liberia, India or Thailand, from there dtproject become what it is today, a platform for artists to develop cooperation projects, information and awareness to help the underprivileged.

CN: ¿Puedes describir cada una de las obras sociales y proyectos solidarios de cooperación internacional en el que participan?

DT: A) Proyecto "Historias de un Sueño" con Mercy Ships: Un proyecto que documenta el trabajo de 450 voluntarios abordo del África Mercy, un buque hospital perfectamente equipado, con profesionales de más de cuarenta nacionalidades que desarrollan, proyectos de agricultura, ganadería y construcción de colegios, centros médicos, pozos de agua, letrinas, además de un enorme proyecto sanitario. Tres años de duro trabajo y casi 200 voluntarios, han hecho falta, para que “Historias de un sueño” se convirtiera en una realidad. Documental, clips, cine y música se toman de la mano, en este trabajo que pretende ser una gran herramienta para beneficio de los más desfavorecidos.

CN: Can you describe each of the social works and charity projects involving international cooperation?

DT: A) Project "Tales of a Dream" with Mercy Ships: A project documenting the work of 450 volunteers aboard the Africa Mercy, a hospital ship fully equipped, with professionals from over 40 nationalities, who develop, agriculture projects, livestock and construction of schools, clinics, water wells, latrines also a huge sanitary health project. Three years of hard work and nearly 200 volunteers have been necessary, for "Stories of a dream" became a reality.

Documentary, clips, movies and music are taken by the hand, this paper purporting to be a great tool for the benefit of the poor.

B) Proyecto "Compassion en India y Tailandia": Dtproject ha elaborado un proyecto junto con Compassion que ha trasladado a la solista catalana Anna Cano a la India y al cantautor Cordobés David Bea a Tailandia para ver en primera persona las necesidades de estos lugares y ser portavoces en nuestro país de que si se pueden hacer muchas cosas que ayuden a estos pequeños.

Desarrollaremos un proyecto que plasmará diferentes problemáticas que afectan a la infancia y la labor de Compassion como respuesta para el desarrollo integral del niño. Llevará entres dos y tres años de trabajo. Incluye un viaje a Tanzania y otro a Bolivia con otros artistas. Tendrá canciones con la participación de artistas como David Bea, Alex Sampedro, Anna Cano y Hosanna entre otros y un largometraje que pretende potenciar la labor de Compassion en España. Nos hemos implicado planamente en el programa de 150 niños a través de las presentaciones para conseguir un padrino que apoye a estos pequeños en países en vías de desarrollo obteniendo los beneficios en los centros de Compassion, donde reciben alimentos, formación, ropa, juegos, revisiones y tratamientos médicos también esperanza a través del evangelio. En un lugar donde los más pequeños son víctimas de la desnutrición, enfermedades y tráfico sexual.

B) Project "Compassion in India & Thailand": Dtproject has developed a project with Compassion that has moved to the Catalan soloist Anna Cano to India and the Córdoba's songwriter David Bea to Thailand to see at first hand the needs of these places and be spokespersons in our country that if you can do many things to help these children. Developing a project that it commit various problems affecting children and the work of Compassion in response to the development of the child. This project will take between two to three years of work. Includes a trip to Tanzania and one to Bolivia with other artists. It will have songs with artists such as David Bea, Alex Sampedro, Anna Cano and Hosanna among others and a feature that aims to promote the work of Compassion in Spain. We have been involved in the program flatly 150 children through presentations to get a sponsor to support these small developing countries benefitting from Compassion centers, where they receive food, education, clothing, games, medical reviews and treatments, also hope through the gospel. In a place where children are victims of malnutrition, diseases and sex trafficking.

C) Proyecto "Stop The Traffik" "Exclavitud XXI": En 2011 producimos un CD y CD-Rom con música e información para concienciar y recaudar fondos para luchar contra la trata de personas, una carga que tenemos de forma muy intensa y que la encontramos prácticamente en todos los países. Es muy probable que pronto dediquemos dos o tres años a la elaboración de un proyecto mas profundo de esta problemática.

D) Proyecto "Vacaciones en Paz" con ACAPS Sahara: Con más dificultades que nunca debido a la situación económica de España, se han conseguido fondos y familias que acojan un niño saharaui en su casa durante los meses de verano con el objetivo de que puedan recibir tratamientos médicos y alimenticios que mejoren su estado, además de sacarlos de un verano de más de 50º de temperatura en el desierto. Tristemente en muchos lugares de España, ha disminuido notablemente el número de niños del programa, que se lleva haciendo más de una década por la falta de financiación. Os pedimos oración para que todo marche, en estos días tendremos la reunión de todo el colectivo de Tenerife implicado. Ya son siete años los que llevamos trabajando con “Vacaciones en paz” y donde se han creado vínculos muy fuertes tanto en España como en el desierto, donde nos conocen y se han abierta unas puertas preciosas para seguir cooperando, llevando valores y esperanza.

E) "Plataforma de Artistas Solidarios": Este proyecto está enteramente implicado y necesariamente asumido como parte de los tres proyectos anteriores, forma parte integral del desarrollo, elaboración y promoción de “Historias de un Sueño” “El color de la tierra” y “Compassion”. Hemos y seguiremos ministrando y ayudando en iglesias, filmando proyectos audiovisuales, grabando nuevas canciones, reuniones, desarrollando proyectos, formando lazos, para que todo eso sirva para informar, concienciar y llevar ayuda a más desfavorecidos a través de los diferentes proyectos con los que trabajamos. La Plataforma de Artistas Solidarios de dtproject, lleva trabajando 7 años con artistas y músicos que voluntariamente donan su tiempo y sus capacidades para la realización de proyectos solidarios o benéficos.

We have and will continue ministering and helping churches, filming audiovisual projects, recording new songs, meetings, developing projects, forming loops, so that all this serves to inform, educate and bring aid to more disadvantaged people through different projects we work. dtproject Platform of Solidary Artists, has been working seven years with artists and musicians who volunteer their time and skills to carry out charitable or benefic projects.

CN: ¿Qué te hizo escoger estas ONG´s?

DT: Todas han surgido de forma natural, pero evidentemente antes de decidirnos estamos al menos un año estudiando valores como, eficiencia en el trabajo que desarrollan, trasparencia en la gestión de los recursos, comunicación de su labor, predisposición al desarrollo del proyecto a ejecutar y que el evangelio forme parte importante de las bases de trabajo, entre otras cosas.

CN: What made you choose these NGOs? DT: All have arisen naturally, but obviously before we decide, we are at least a year studying values as, efficiency in the work they develop, transparency in resource management, communication of their work, willingness to perform project development and that the gospel is an important part of the foundation of work, among other things.

CN: ¿Puedes compartir algunas anécdotas?

DT: Serían innumerables, pero por ejemplo Salka una niña del desierto que nos brindaba con su familia su único plato de comida a pesar de que ellos no tenían nada más. Siete años después sigo en contacto con ella y para mi representa el rostro de la esperanza. Una chica en Tailandia que prefiero no dar su nombre por protección ya que fue traficada sexualmente desde que tenía dos años, que se logró escapar cuando fue adulta. Conoció el evangelio y hoy trabaja sacando a chicas de la calle. Cristine una niña de 4 años ciega de nacimiento en Liberia que fue operada y tuve la oportunidad de estar presente cuando le quitaban las vendas y comenzó a descubrir a la gente que la habían cuidado desde pequeña. Hay muchísimas que dejan una huella imborrable.

CN: Can you share some anecdotes?

DT: There are innumerable, but for example Salka a girl from the desert and her family gave us her only meal even though they had nothing more. Seven years later I'm still in touch with her and to me represents the face of the hope. A girl in Thailand, I prefer she remain anonymous for protection as she was sexually trafficked since she was two years old, who managed to escape when she became an adult. Learned the gospel and now works bringing out girls from the street.

Cristine a 4 years old girl born blind in Liberia, had surgery and I had the opportunity to be present when they took off the bandages and began to discover the people who had cared for her since childhood. There are many who leave an indelible mark.

Muchas vidas se van desvaneciendo por abandono político, por intereses económicos o simplemente por causas sencillas y de simple prevención, formemos parte integral de lo que sucede en este mundo imitando a Jesús que desde el primer momento dejo claro donde estaba su lugar y con quien debía de estar.

David Tapia: En nuestro caso siempre la letra va primero para saber de que queremos hablar y dependiendo de eso buscamos que la música de forma al contenido con las tonalidades y matices que necesita para contar la historia.

Celestial Nor: The music and lyrics is composed by you David Tapia, with the help of some musicians. What comes first?

David Tapia: In our case the lyric is always the first to know what we want to speak and depending on that we want the music to shape the content with the shades and nuances it needs to tell the story.

CN: ¿Pueden compartir algunas anécdotas o experiencias que hay en las canciones?

DT: Las canciones siempre están pensadas bajo vivencias en los países que hemos estado, o para informar o denunciar sobre alguna situación o injusticia desde la perspectiva de la fe. El proceso creativo es entretenido y nunca sabes a donde te van a llegar los arreglos pues la mayoría de las veces intentamos que estén dentro de un disco conceptual.

CN: Can you share some stories and experiences that are in the songs?

DT: The songs are always designed under experiences in countries that we have been, or to inform or report on any situation or injustice, from the perspective of faith. The creative process is entertaining and you never know where you will get the arrangements for most times we try it to be within a concept album.

CN: ¿Cómo son vuestras melodías?

DT: Las melodías y formas de las canciones están bajo la influencia de las grandes bandas de los 60´ y los 70´ desde The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, U2 o Supertramp, hablamos de una mezcla de Folk, Country y Rock sinfónico.

CN: How you define your melodies?

DT: The melodies and forms of the songs are under the influence of the great bands of the 60s and 70s from The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, U2 or Supertramp, we speak of a mixture of Folk, Country and Rock symphonic.

CN: ¿Quiénes son los integrantes de dtproject y equipo de producción?

DT: Son muy variables, no me atrevería a hablar de integrantes, pues al ser una plataforma de artistas solidarios, hay músicos, productores y solistas que trabajan durante diferentes períodos de tiempo dependiendo del proyecto a desarrollar, hay gente que esta un mes, otros que están un año, otros cinco años. Pero buscamos por encima de todo la participación. Un buen ejemplo es que dtproject incluso tiene diferentes bandas dependiendo de la provincia a la que nos acerquemos.

CN: Who are the members of dtproject and production team?

DT: They are very variable, I don´t dare to speak of members, as being a supportive platform for artists, there are musicians, producers and singers who work for different periods of time depending on the project to develop, there are people who are a month, others are a year, another five years. But above all we seek participation. A good example is that dtproject even has different bands depending on the province to which we come.

CN: ¿Cómo conociste a Jesucristo?

DT: Yo a nivel personal lo conocí a los 17 años en un campamento de jóvenes.

CN: How did you meet Jesus Christ?

DT: I personally met him when I was 17 years old at a youth camp.

CN: ¿Qué material musical y audiovisual han producido?

DT: dtproject “Historias de un Sueño”: Historias de un Sueño, consta de un CD musical con 14 temas y un vídeo en formato DVD que presenta el trabajo de la “Esperanza de África” un buque hospital con 450 voluntarios de la ONG “Naves de Esperanza” en uno de los países mas pobre del mundo: Liberia. En su contenido se recoge la historia de niños soldados que vivieron en primera persona el horror de la guerra, en un país donde alternan la tristeza con las nuevas esperanzas. A la edad de 32 empezó a escuchar voces del diablo que le decían que iba a morir en un accidente de coche. Un día, pasando por Curitiba, (la carretera de la muerte por lo peligrosa que es) no paraba de escuchar esas voces. “Vas a morir en un accidente de coche. Vas a morir”. Y, de pronto, escuchó otra voz que decía: “Si tú crees en mí, no morirás. ¡Cree en mí!”

El está seguro de que era la voz de Dios.

Su esposa ya era cristiana evangélica. Ese día cuando volvió vivo a casa se puso a llorar. Ella hizo una oración y leyó la Biblia con él. Jamás volvió a escuchar esas voces. Ahora sabe que Dios existe de verdad, y no quiere ir al infierno, solo seguir Su camino.

At the age of 32 he began to hear voices from the devil telling him that he would die in a car accident. One day, passing through Curitiba, (the road of death because is so dangerous) I kept hearing those voices. "You will die in a car accident. You're going to die. "And suddenly, he heard another voice saying, "If you believe in me you shall never die. Believe in me!"

He's sure it was the voice of God. His wife was evangelical christian. That day when he returned home alive began to mourn. She said a prayer and read the Bible with him. Never again hear those voices. Now you know that God really exists and will not go to hell, just follow His path.
