Donations help local Head Start
Cedar Community’s Mission Quilters have generously donated hundreds of quilts to the local community over the years. They have recently expanded their reach to include knitting and will be providing knit hats and mittens for West Bend’s Head Start program, which serves low-income families. They will help provide these much-needed items to 100 children enlisted in the program. If you would like to help, the group needs 4 ply acrylic worsted yarn. Donations of yarn are appreciated and can be dropped off at the main reception desk of Cedar Community’s independent living apartments, 113 Cedar Ridge Drive, West Bend.
