The other very important points are to learn how to use the right grips, stay hydrated, stay in good shape to be able to focus on

the technique and strategies of playing the game, improving your

reaction time, and your stamina, and the most important is that you can only play one point at a time, so even if you play the best/ worst

point of your life, you can always re-focus and keep going.

1. Choose the right tennis racquet.

There are many racquets to choose from these days and it could be very confusing. Racquets for juniors and beginners usually

come strung and are inexpensive. The key is to choose one that matches your body, athleticism, weight, and grip size. The best

is to ask the tennis pro or the tennis host, as they will be able to

guide you very easily. It is an investment as a good pair of skis, you can get the racquet re-strung and keep adjusting to make your game better.

2. Practice

Tennis is a very fun game, but as everything, it requires consistency. That means you can play well one week, and the next could be

discouraging. Don’t get down on yourself, this is very normal and it

will improve as your practice becomes more consistent.

3. Take some lessons

It could be intimidating to take tennis lessons, but that is the

perfect way to not develop bad habits and start with the right

technique. It is very easy to get started and hit the ball back and

forth, but you will stagnate pretty fast without the right methods. Do some research and find the right tennis professional that will

make it fun for you, will improve your game, and will motivate you.

4. Warm up and cool down

Warming up is especially important. Most injuries come from
