My Everyday Hero
Emily Jasmine Kim 3o Secundaria
An everyday hero is someone that helps people around them because they do care and don't expect anything in return. These heros can be anyone, and also can be people you know, like your parents, a police officer, a firefighter, a doctor, or a teacher. Everyday heroes can also be people that perform little actions. They don't have to perform big heroic actions, or be very strong or have some kind of supernatural powers. Just by doing little things like picking up the trash on the streets, or helping siblings to do their homework, or something difficult for them. To me, my mom is my hero.
My mom is a really strong woman because she has raised three kids all by herself for many years. She worked really hard all day and night for a long time and gave me and my siblings a good school and home. I can't imagine how hard it was for her to work alone, but in the end, she gave us the best things. She also was there for me when I needed her and made time to be with the family although she was tired. My siblings and I try to help her in whatever we can because sometimes everyone needs help, even if they are heroes. I admire her very much and I'm grateful for all the things she has done for me and my siblings. That is why I consider her my hero.
In conclusion, everyday heroes can be ordinary people that have done good things and made difficult decisions, but they aren't recognized for that or mentioned in the news. You can be an everyday hero if you want. You just have to do what you think it's the right thing to do and help people whenever they need it.
