My Everyday Hero

Carmina Herrera Junco 3o Secundaria

Some people think that heroes are most of the time physically strong, charming and sweet. The truth here is that every single person can be a hero; they just need courage and bravery. I think my mom is a great example of a hero. At least, she is for me s.

Being a hero does not mean that you have to be super strong or powerful, you just need little actions that one day can become big actions for someone. A hero is born just as some of my classmates said. It is not any universe power that makes them and within they come with a superpower. My mother's name is María Junco, and I see her as my absolute hero. She has been through a lot of things that make her a hero. She is a resilient woman because she went through her father and ex-husband’s death. Then her mother in law died because of COVID-19, and still she took absolute care of my brother and me. As you can see, heroes are not famous or recognized, but still they are considered heroes. As I mentioned before, my mom is my hero; she is neither famous nor superstrong, and she hasn’t saved a city, yet she is my hero.

In conclusion, heroes don't always wear capes. They just wear clothes like any person. Heroes just need courage and bravery to show the world that anyone can be a hero. I consider everybody should start trying to be a hero because simple actions make heroes.

Dedicated to my mom and hero, Maria Junco.
